I used to like it, now it’s being uninstalled

I have been playing this particular version of Sudoku for many years, and while the ads were always bad, especially when going to play another, this company has crossed the line with injecting video ads in the middle of game play. Used to work offline — no more so that new more invasive ads can be pushed. Bye bye PeopleFun — bullies aren’t fun

This app had been great. Even with the ads. The look is nice as are the customizations. Recently, tho, ads have been popping up WHILE you’re making moves. They are disruptive and annoying. Some pop right back to the game but even so, it ruins your concentration. For a game that’s timed it’s super annoying! I get that you want us to upgrade, but what I’ll end up doing is finding a different app.

Ads pop up continuously - don’t bother downloading

As of Sept 2026 ads pop up continuously. Sometimes 3-4 ads in one minute.
This was my favourite app for years but is now unplayable. Don’t waste your time. There are lots of great sudoku apps to choose from.

Annoying ads

I used to enjoy this game. Following a recent update, it now pops up annoying micro ads multiple times mid game. I’ve deleted it and don’t plan on coming back to it. If that’s how little respect you have for your customer experience, I have no time for your app.

Too many ads, including “fake” ads with lousy products.

I enjoy playing g this game, but they have extremely long ads between games, and many of the ads are fake. Many purport to be from Nordstrom, but are actually selling schlocky, low quality Chinese knockoffs.
This app needs to get rid of these particular fraudulent ads and to eliminate the ads that last for several minutes between games.

It’s almost impossible to play a second game because the ad(s) for Mah Jung can’t be closed or swiped away or even removed by turning off the phone entirely
I love this game but the impossibility of bypassing the ads defeats me. Solitaire also suffers but not. To the same extent
It’s time for this game to protest loudly to the App Store to fix this fast and permanently

Excellent Classic ruined!

The app was recently re-designed to force user to try other games….with no way to repress the intrusion. You can play only a couple games before the offer appears. Be sure to have sound off! There is no way to exit from the screen or return to Sudoku. Was excellent before these changes Dreadfully annoying and disappointing. Searching for another Sudoku…..

Banner ads are fine. Pop ups after a game are fine. Random mid-game ads that interrupt game play are obnoxious and unacceptable.

Ruined

Had this app for approximately a decade. Used it to shut my mind off before bed. Yesterday it started with pop up ads. I have no idea what were on these ads just that they completely ruined the whole point of playing the game. Deleted the app within 24 hours of this change. Just charge for it, because now it is useless. May as well trash the whole app, I did.
