This update introduces a redesigned Home screen and smarter ways to play: • A fresh, responsive dashboard with Daily Challenge progress, current and best streaks, and quick access to player statistics. • A new Resume Game card showing elapsed time and completion progress. • New Smart Notes that can automatically turn logically resolved candidates into answers and clean up related notes. • Improved candidate controls with separate Auto Candidates, Smart Notes, and regular Notes modes. Your preferred mode is remembered for the next game. • Clear on-screen feedback when switching modes, with an option to disable it in Settings.

Poor notes function

I am happy to pay for a non advert Sudoku, however I expect a notes facility that can note more than one number in a cell - otherwise what is the point of the note? This poor functionality means it is not useable at expert level or higher

Thank you for your feedback. The app does support multiple notes in a single cell. Please enable Notes mode using the pencil icon, select a cell, and then enter all the candidate numbers you need. We’re sorry this feature wasn’t clear enough, and we’ll look at making it easier to discover. We hope you’ll give it another try and consider updating your review.

Great app

I like this version of Sudoku but the single thing that makes me not want to play it is that when you’ve completed a number it doesn’t mark it as done. It’s the only sudoku app i’ve used that doesn’t do it.
Update: developers have fixed this issue and I’ve upgraded my rating accordingly. This is a great version of Sudoku.
