About
Sudoku the way it should be: no ads, no interruptions, no tricks. Just you and the puzzle.
FREE. NO ADS. EVER.
The free version is a complete game — not a demo. Unlimited Beginner, Easy, Medium and Hard puzzles — 4,000 of them — plus hints, statistics and the first lesson. No banner at the bottom, no video after every puzzle, no "watch an ad to continue". Ever.
LEARN REAL TECHNIQUES
Most sudoku apps test you. This one teaches you. 19 interactive lessons cover every technique the app itself uses to solve and to hint — each with a guided demo, practice positions and a final exam:
• Naked & Hidden Single
• Locked Candidates
• Naked & Hidden Pair, Naked & Hidden Triple, Naked Quad
• X-Wing, Swordfish
• Skyscraper, Two-String Kite, Empty Rectangle
• XY-Wing, XYZ-Wing, W-Wing
• Simple Colouring
HINTS THAT TEACH
A hint here doesn't just fill in a cell. It shows you the pattern on the board, names the technique and explains the logic — so next time you spot it yourself.
NO MISTAKE COUNTER
No "three mistakes and game over". Error checking is a setting: off, conflicts only, or full check — with sensible defaults for each difficulty.
CHECKPOINTS FOR HYPOTHESES
Want to try an idea without losing your place? Set a checkpoint: everything you enter after it appears in a different color, like switching to another pen. Path proved right — confirm the branch and the digits become permanent. Dead end — roll it back in one tap.
6,000 PUZZLES, SIX HONEST LEVELS
Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Master — 1,000 puzzles each. Difficulty here means one thing only: the hardest technique the puzzle actually requires. Not the number of open cells, not a guess. Beginner needs naked singles, Master needs wings, empty rectangles and colouring.
NEVER A GUESS
Every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by pure logic, all the way to the last cell — checked by the app's own solver before shipping. No "assume this and see what happens", no dead ends where the only way forward is trial and error. That also means a hint is always available: there is always a named technique that works.
A PUZZLE A DAY
The daily puzzle is the same for everyone, with a technique of the day and a lesson to match. Keep a daily streak: every seven days earns a shield that covers a missed day, and yesterday's puzzle can still be caught up today. Every solve earns points, and harder techniques and clean solves earn more. Set a daily goal, finish three quests a day, and compete in the weekly league and on best-time boards in Game Center.
THEMES FOR EVERY MOOD
Classic and Amber come in light and dark and can follow your system setting; Sepia, Midnight and High contrast come with Premium. Seasonal themes go further, with their own illustrations, board frame, buttons and app icon: a cozy Autumn theme, free for everyone, and Halloween, free every year around October 31.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No analytics, no tracking, no account, no third-party SDKs. The app doesn't collect anything. Progress and statistics live on your device.
WORKS OFFLINE
On a plane, in the subway, off the grid — everything works without internet.
MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Full iPad support with a layout built for the big screen.
PREMIUM — ONE PURCHASE, YOURS FOREVER
A single one-time purchase (no subscription!) unlocks all 19 lessons, unlimited teaching hints, the Sepia, Midnight and High contrast themes, seasonal themes all year round and the two top levels — Expert and Master. Family Sharing supported.
