Used to be great
I played the old version every day for years. The new version is not as good. I only play occasionally now. I also don’t like submitting my score. Always at the bottom of the so called players. I may delete it and find a new one.
Fun game
Good basic game. I’ve never had problems with the app, play it every day.
Ads; previous purchases can’t be restored
I bought the app previously but now it fails to restore previous purchases, so it now shows ads after I already paid for the app. Hasn’t been updated for iPhone X display support either so it seems like the app has been abandoned, which is especially disappointing as I’ve been buying Astraware games since Windows Mobile.

Loud ads & no way to turn off sounds
Liked this app until a very loud music filled ad popped up. I was in a hospital room sitting with a very ill family member. Uh no. I checked and volume was already turned all the way down. Sound effects were turned off in the app, So there was no way to prevent another occurrence. Deleted.
Sudoku update
Ditto on previous reviewers headaches with the updated app not allowing the restoration of previous purchases. Apple will not refund the redundant purchase, even though subsequent update release notes state that the "restore" function did not work. Sounds like an early Dilbert comic strip - sell defect products that cause users to have to repurchase. Great business model for Apple to support among its vendors.

Lost my unlocked priveleges
I enjoyed OTD for a couple months after upgrading from the old AW Sudoku; some things were better (could always get the day's puzzles if I had a connection), some worse (pencilmarks contrast). However, today it started showing ads. Restore purchases requests iTunes passwd but then just sits there. Banner ads really wreck the game for me. Ponied up another 3 bucks to get back to scratch, but very frustrated about the backsliding to annoying ads.

Zero support
After an update, in-app purchases could not be restored. I contacted Astraware 7 times over a month through their online support ticket form. Never got a single response. Terrible, nonexistent support, and in this case a complete ripoff. $3 down the drain to these criminals.
Several months later and an update. Same problem. Same crooked lack of response from Astraware. Don't give them your money. The game is good, but you will have to pay for it over and over. Avoid these crooks, who never respond to their support tickets.

Sudoku - full version
I loved this game. After an update, the game froze up. After a week I deleted the game, uploaded it, and paid for it again. The same thing happened again. Now all I have is the same frozen page. Please fix it and I'll change my rating to 5 stars. Thanks.

Addictive and Fun
Great app and very addictive. I have been a fan of Astraware sudoku since the days of Palm OS and it's great to see that this game has evolved on IOS and the latest incarnation is the best yet. Not perfect due to occasional lag or "freezing" during game play but all and all a great app and visually pleasing.

Good app!
I love this sudoku app. I have had several and this is, by far, my favorite. The only negative is that I wish the board was a bigger size. I wear glasses and have a vision problem and its sometimes harder to see the numbers on the board.
Beware, can't restore purchases
I've used Astraware apps starting with Palm, through WinCE, and now iPhone. Purchased this when it first came out, and have used it across several devices as I've upgraded. Now the Restore Purchases option no longer works, just spins forever. Contacted Astraware and got no response. Add that to the fact that it isn't optimized for the iP5, and it's a sure sign that it's time to move on. You've lost a loyal customer.

Great daily mind exercise
Had this on my old Palm Centro (yeah, ok) and glad there's a version for iPhone. Great way to keep the mind going.
Satisfied
I really like the game. When I post my time though it is never my actual time. If I finished a puzzle in 3 minutes it puts 12 minutes. Unsure why it does this? Glitch?

Many levels & options available so can adjust as you improve your skills. Very Fun! Includes new puzzles daily, one at each level of difficulty.

Auto Pencil Removal?
I really like most everything about this app. I would like to suggest auto pencil "removal" when a number has been placed. That would be great.

I really like that you can put your guesses in the boxes then push your answer without undo-ing your guesses. I like all the levels. But I wish we didn't have to buy more games

This is just about the perfect sudoku game. Pencil marks ate easy to use. The several levels go from easy to too challenging. The daily games are something I look forward to doing.

It's great but I am a bit concerned that there isn't a statistics for the diabolical level. It's the one I play most but I can't check myself on it.
