I've been playing PeopleFun's Sudoku since it first launched (I was one of those who pre-ordered the original iPad, so it's been quite a while).
That version had ads, but they didn't prevent me from seeing the game tiles (which are at the bottom of the screen).
My issue with that free version was when I started using my iPad vertically with the miniPad.
That's when I couldn’t see the tiles properly, and even tapping on a tile often launched the app instead of selecting the tile.
After trying several ‘workarounds,’ which were never perfect, the ads would eventually return. That’s when I first contacted PeopleFun, telling them I loved the game, but the ads were making it nearly unplayable because they distracted me. I asked if they had a version without ads, or at least one with less intrusive ads. I said I’d pay or subscribe to stop the ads.
I don’t remember if they replied, and I don't have time to check often.
I had issues with the first version of this game.
A few months ago (about 2-3 months before June 2026), I finally saw a reply — buried deep in the app’s instruction page, which most people rarely visit or notice.
Because the free version isn't called 'Sudulo 2,’ and this isn't explicitly called an ‘ad-free’ or ‘plus’ version, you won’t find it unless you search ‘>Suduko2Pro.’

Bit small
Not big enough for the iPad!! the free version was better but has lots of ads

No ads. Well worth the price.
Screen orientation lock
The orientation lock does not work and they are not fixing it.
Miss input
Occasionally, I will enter the correct number but the system kicks it back and charges me with a strike. I will enter the same number again and it will accept the input.
Been playing over a decade
This is my go to game. Challenging and relaxing. Love it!

Game Extremely Difficult 😞
I have played this game for years. But since recent updates it appears difficulty levels have been increased. The Hard Level is now like the Extra Hard. And the Extra Hard Level is Impossible.
I use to be able to do the Hard level even if challenging. Now it’s become almost undo able

Smooth game play
I’ve played this game for years and it’s smooth and consistent. Love the experience and challenge.
Fun and Chalenging
A fun game to do when you have some downtime. The sound effects are motivating and the variety of levels causes you to continually challenge yourself!

Great but can’t see difficulty level
This Sudoku puzzle app is great. I like the options for different tile looks and the difficulty levels are true to what they say. The only problem is that when I’m in a puzzle there isn’t a way to confirm which difficulty level I’m currently on.

Die bis heute supportete Version gibt‘s nur mit Werbung. Die werbefreie Version hingegen wurde zuletzt vor drei Jahren aktualisiert, sehr schade.
This Sudoku game
I keep coming back to this game of sudoku. It’s possible I like it most because I’ve played it more than anything else, but I still like it better than most sudoku games I’ve tried. Period!
Beautiful grafical view
The selected number tile flying to its place in iOS is wonderful feature. Please replicate this in Android for millions of users.

I downloaded 6 other sudoku games (including the free version of this game) and they were all miserable for one reason or another.
It’s not on an eye-screaming white background.
This game is beautiful and note-mode is noticeably different so there’s a lower chance of placing a number rather than the note you wanted to place.
It keeps track of your score, allows for failure (4 wrong guesses), but still allows you to finish if you like, and keeps track of your times and longest success streaks. It also allows each number to be highlighted as a group, making it so much easier to see what you’re looking for.
Very nicely done.
I genuinely don’t know why anyone bothers with all these other sudoku apps. For the price of a coffee, I get peace in my app.

The Best Game Ever!
I’ve been playing this game for like 10 years now. One night I decided to download the plus version and it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made! I’ve gotten WAY more than my money’s worth! I play it daily just to get my brain off of everything. I love that you don’t have to have internet to use it. Its always worked perfectly, and there’s no annoying updates that constantly change things. The version I’m playing now is the exact same I played 10 years ago (without the ads now. Gotta love that adult money lol) I love this app so much!!!!

It is OK
I wish in the games option it would just let you play it for free not to actually get the app cause I’m a kid and I don’t know how to get apps by myself so it’s kind of annoying because what if I really want that app in my parents are around because I have three older siblings once in high school so she usually babysit us all the time if my parents are out of work trip or my mom works at an ER/hospital so
