No hints, only whole puzzle solved
In the pictures, it says you can input a grid and get hints as to possible next moves but I can’t do this. The only option is to choose a square and have it solve that (without it explaining how) or solving the whole thing with no explanation.

My primary goal was finding an app to help me problem solve with hints and maybe explanations/clues how to narrow it down. I didn’t have a problem with uploading an image or filling in numbers like some others reported. I just couldn’t make use of hints, which makes this useless to me. I don’t want to just have a puzzle solved for me. This particular app just wasn’t for me.

Dynamic Island Problem
I can’t believe the developers didn’t catch this. The instructions (at least I presume they are instructions. I can’t really see what they are) that this app gives are LITERALLY right underneath the iOS Dynamic Island on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I presume it would be the same for all other phones that have that feature. With that being the case, the text is useless which makes the app moderately useless as well. Good thing the ads do not get interfered with by the Dynamic Island. 🤨

It says my medium level is “unsolvable” but i’m finding answers on my own but it can’t even solve one
Needs a lot of work
Scanning from photo library from another app is poor. Number selection UI is poor. No solving tools (highlight rows, columns, see available numbers that work).
Enjoyment
I am in my late 70s and still enjoying Solver! It has brought me hours of pleasure and brain stimulation!
How do you get hints?
Is the solve one square the hint feature or is it something different ?
