Fantastic Sudoku Scanner — and It’s Free!
The first thing I love about this app is the price: it’s completely free. Most scanner-style Sudoku apps with this kind of functionality make you pay upfront or push subscriptions, but not this one. That alone earns it a 5/5.
As for the scanning feature, OCR can always be a bit tricky depending on lighting or camera angle, but this app handles it really well. And what I appreciate the most is that after three failed attempts, it lets you enter the digits manually so you’re never stuck. Even better, you can correct any misread numbers — for example, changing a 6 that was detected as a 9. That flexibility makes the whole experience smooth.
