About
A new sudoku whenever you want one — now with stars and points to collect. Sudoku Time creates a fresh puzzle every time you start a game.
■ A fresh puzzle every game
· Three levels: Easy, Medium and Hard — 38, 30 or 24–26 given numbers
· Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so you can solve it with logic, not guesswork
· Daily puzzle — one a day, the same puzzle for everyone (free to enter)
· Killer sudoku — a variant where you fill each dotted cage so its digits add up to the number shown (no digit repeats inside a cage). Easy starts with a few numbers; Medium and Hard give only the sums. Choose Classic, Diagonal or Killer for a new game (all three levels)
· Diagonal sudoku — both diagonals must also contain 1–9 once each; selecting a cell highlights its diagonals too
■ Stars, points and levels
· Up to 3 stars per game: finish / 3 mistakes or fewer / within the target time (Easy 5 min, Medium 8 min, Hard 20 min; Killer 8, 20 and 35 min)
· Spend points to start a game and get double back when you finish in time (half if you go over)
· Gain XP to level up, and keep your streak going with one game a day
· This week's missions — three new missions every Monday, 50P each and 50P more for all three
· Streak guard (100P, up to 2) — miss a day and your streak still continues when you next finish a game
· 14 achievements and a calendar of the days you played this month
· Top up points with the daily login bonus or by watching an ad — Easy stays playable even when you're short
· Unlock color themes (Ocean, Lavender, Ink) with points to change the whole app's colors
■ Made for comfortable solving
· Select a cell to highlight its row, column, box (and cage in killer sudoku) and matching numbers. In Killer you also see the cage sum, what's left and empty cells
· Duplicates in a row, column or box (and cage in Killer), or a cage sum that doesn't add up, are marked right away with a short note saying why (it doesn't compare with the answer)
· Stuck? Buy a hint with points to fill one cell with its answer (up to 3 per game)
· The number pad shows how many of each number are left, and turns off a number once all nine are placed
· Undo and erase
· Notes mode — pencil in small candidate numbers; placing a number clears it from notes in the same row, column and box
· Completing a row, column or box — or placing all nine of a number — lights it up
· The given numbers are locked, so you can't change them by accident
■ At your own pace
· A timer ring shows the time left to the target (and how far over you go), and you can pause it anytime (the board is hidden while paused). A gold dot on the ring marks your best time
· The timer pauses on its own when you leave the app
· Your game saves automatically, so you can continue it from the home screen
· When you finish, you'll see your stars, time and rewards — and how much you beat your best time by
■ Simple and clean
· No sign-up or login, and you can solve puzzles without an internet connection
· Your progress stays on your device (deleting the app resets it)
· Light and dark mode
· English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Spanish
Sudoku Time is free and shows ads. No banner ads appear on the screen where you solve the puzzle, and point top-up ads only play when you choose them. Points can't be bought with money.
