Free dopamine w/ each solve!
I’ve played sudoku for decades and this app is the best, most relaxing way to unwind with them. After completing every puzzle, it shows encouraging stats like “this is your 10th puzzle solved today” or “you solved this 2 minutes faster than your average” which is always nice to hear. I can also change its background color and use hints when I’m stuck. One of my favorite parts is the daily challenge which gives me a star for each completed puzzle and a trophy for completing each month, too.

What happened to dark mode?
Yes I bought the ad free version. Recently had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Now the theme palette and timer is gone. Dark mode is necessary to play at night. Please put it back!

Looking for a replacement
Love this game but it’s ridiculous how often an ad pops up after every 2-3 numbers I enter. I lose my train of thought, & it’s become too annoying. I don’t mind ads at the end, but with a game like this I hate the multiple ads during the game.
TOO MANY ADS! (uninstalled)
I have never written a game review before, yet here we are. I used to have this app downloaded a couple years ago and it was a great way to pass the time and stimulate the brain. The notes and controls were and are very clean and easy to use and overall this app was a great way to play sudoku. Now, while I understand that ads are a fundamental way for developers to get paid, being interrupted in the middle of a game, especially one that takes some level of concentration like sudoku, is extremely frustrating. An ad before and after each game, completely understandable. But multiple ads mid game, right when you get into a flow and start unlocking rows and columns?! Too much. Enough that I will be uninstalling. It’s sad that money is ruining what used to be the best sudoku app on the market. If you don’t mind being interrupted multiple times a game, or paying what in my opinion is way too steep of a price to remove ads, then this is the app for you.

Use to be such a fun game. Horrible with all the ad popups that if you x out of they take you to new app or advertisement.

Inconsistent score for tournaments and postcard challenges
I’ve played this Sudoku game for a few years and consistently score well in tournaments. But something’s off between the tournament scoring and the postcard challenge rankings.
The latest tournament and the postcard challenge both started yesterday. Since then, I’ve played almost exclusively the postcard challenge and I’m leading the tournament scoreboard, with the next closest player at a little over a third of my score. The postcard challenge has three parts: 16 games, then 25, then 64, for 105 games total. I’ve finished the first two postcards and one game into the third, so 42 games. But someone has already completed all three, all 105 games, since yesterday. That’s 63 more games than me, in the same one day. But, as I said, I am leading the tournament—by almost a million points.
So either someone got a huge head start, they’re getting much easier puzzles, or we’re not all playing the same version of this event. Regardless, it’s frustrating and distracting.

Sudoku ads
Been using this for several years.
Has become almost unplayable in the last 3 months. Ads originally came at beginning and end of games, then after completing all of a number. Now it appears that virtually every correct selection deserves an advertisement.

Recent release
The latest release of this game has ruined an otherwise great game. The pop up ads make it unplayable.
Full of Ads Now
This was a great game until the last update. Now it’s flooded with ads and it’s aggravating at times. I understand having to make money but this is getting out of control. And the ads are somewhat invasive and they’re getting longer and longer.

Bring back times!
When you were done a level, you saw your game time, how it compared against your average and whether it was considered your best time. I don’t play suduko for “points.” I play to compare myself against myself. Bring back the times after the game!
