Beautiful graphics

The UI is gorgeous! It's slow when writing the numbers because of the animation and doesn't have a lot of features. But if you don't need a bunch of helper features to enjoy sudoku this game is great!

Looks aren't everything

This application is pretty, but slow. Not all puzzles are valid. As an example of the speed, when you select a number for a cell, it is drawn in a calligraphic style. So it can take several seconds to draw the number; 8's are especially slow. This is frustrating when you are almost done with the puzzle and just need to fill in the only choices left. In addition, the first puzzle I played was invalid. There were multiple solutions due to a Unique Rectangle.

We've just dropped the price on our app to $0. We love the elegance this app shows and hope you enjoy our now free version of Sudoku.

Details

I was always a sucker for details, and because of that I ended up shelling out the cash for this beautiful little app. There are so many other cheaper or free sudoku apps out there, but frankly this one looks the prettiest.

I do find the absolute lack of sound a bit disconcerting. I think the app would benefit from some sound. A swishing effect when the game opens or goes to menu, maybe a gentle tinkle of windchimes (since the bell animation swings at the top), a soft occassional breeze sound. I find that some sounds help to channel my concentration.

Of course if an update included sound it would probably be best to include an on/off option.

Incomplete. No support.

The description claims that custom layouts may be entered. But the application does NOT allow this. The support web site is inaccessible, over several days. I prefer Sudoku Unlimited, but I don't use pencil notes. But this app is not worth ANY money at present.
