Needs more peaks adding
Good app but needs more peaks and summits adding. Would be useful if it had rock climbing routes as well. Maybe if it collaborated with Rockfax or UKC or UKH for a more comprehensive database. Hopefully as more people use it, it will build up more.
Where are topo maps?
The US map is no longer topological. I miss the elevation lines and other information besides peaks, such as mountain range names. Was this change on purpose?

Thought this was a great app initially and then when it did not show up peaks that I knew were nearby, realized it was a crappy app. Thinking I’ll delete it soon.

Awesome App
I have been using this app to log peaks for several years and love to go back and look at dates and pictures from my hikes. Great app. Highly recommend. I often have cell service at the summit, but there is a useful off line mode for very remote locations. You can save the data and back it up to your online log when you return to camp.

Peakhunter
This is a smashing app. The GPS log book keeps track of your peak ascents and you can upload photos to go with it. When you record a peak for the first time by a user it becomes a ‘unique’ to you. The guys a peakhunter then manually verify your input; for free! There are challenges that you can take part in also, again at no cost.

This app is really motivating me to do more climbing hikes verses “flat” ones!
Mountain and hiking app
Not bad, great if you like geo caching. Lots and lots of outdoors with this app. Remember if the info is wrong on the peak you can fix it, that part I love, also you can set new ones Too. I hope in time they are able to work the Bugs out, like saving maps for offline use, and a app for the I-pad and I-pad mini. The support is 5 stars the app is 5 now. Lots of fun. My kids and the rest of us here Love it

Peak location inaccurate.
GPS location is fine. Maps are fine. But the overlaid location of the peaks is off by as much as 1000 to 1500 feet. I live in south central British Columbia Canada in mountainous terrain. The peak location accuracy is insufficient here.
Climber
Still playing with this app, but it has some very decent potential. All in all, nice app.
Optimal
My go to app. The exact location of the peaks is usually off by a hundred feet, however the app allows one to "edit" the location. The backroad maps are incredibly accurate. Overall the optimal mountain hiking app.

1st class App! Very clever and is excellent for keeping tabs on all your summits with date and time! A must for every mountaineer or fell walker!

This clean user friendly app makes me explore local peaks i for years ignored. Fun.
Shows promise
Love the maps, but the app crashes whenever I try to log a peak. Been looking for an app to do what this one attempts to do. The crashing makes it unusable.
Great app. A few feature requests
Besides a few minor bugs, once you get it set up it works great. A few features I would like to see:
1. Show GPS info on the map.
2. Create a friends list of other hunters.
3. Allow us to create challenges.
