Fun but incomplete game
Disappointed that a game in the Apple Arcade is buggy and lacking features. The arena tournament play doesn’t work at all; and the vigor elixors appear to drop in the game but I never collect them. This leaves me unable to awaken any of the abilities beyond the one freebie that is given.

This looks and (practically) plays the same as archero.
The developers behind archero have put so much time and effort into the game (I’ve been playing about 4 years) and this game seems like a cheaply made knock off.
If I haven’t sold you on getting archero instead of this mess; this game makes you play in landscape.
Therefore, the way archero plays stays comfortable for longer periods of time.

This game is pretty fun…

it is a very good game
i very like to play this game like that. this so cool this game, i like it.
Almost good but AWFUL controls
I keep trying the game, but keep getting so frustrated at the awful controls. The character sticks to walls, stopping, in a game where constant movement is needed. Controls reset after using the bracelet, leaving the character standing still and getting hit. Levels are designed with TONS of tight spaces, and dead ends, making these sticky issues even worse. Dashing direction is so inconsistent that it’s a gamble to do it. And then there’s dashing over water, which some levels require you to do, and often just simply doesn’t work. It’s close to being a good game, but these issues just make it anger-inducing.

It’s a fun game but every time you close it, it doesn’t save your progress and you have to completely restart
No updates in 6+ months
Was a good game, but seems that developer has stopped supporting the app. Attempts at contacting Team17 for info only gets canned answers. Move on.

Still has that familiar F2P “start paying” or grind for years brick wall moment… just without the option to pay.
Buff shields
Heroes that have a sheild are unfathomably useless, both in pvp and pve. But at least there’s no micro transactions

Gets worse the longer you play it
Typically with these types of games you play to upgrade so that you can make it further and challenge new content. in this game, every upgrade you purchase makes the enemies more difficult, especially around the end where the upgrades are so insignificant and you wind up taking forever to kill basic enemies in the first levels because everyone is so buffed. so each upgrade makes the game more annoying and less fun. It started out good but got worse until it was horrible.

What’s up with getting stuck on everything in the environment even when there is nothing there you still get stuck. My character just stops moving all the time. Why do I lose sight of my character do to the environment seems really stupid I should see at least my outline or silhouette or something. I don’t understand what’s happening half the time and the controls are very unresponsive half the time I go in the wrong direction. I hit enemies and the don’t take damage I don’t hit them and they take damage. Enemies hit me with nothing and I get damage. Im sure stun locking isn’t a thing in this game but somehow it happens to me all the time. It needs a lot of work.
