About

You remember the people on a trip, but not always who paid for dinner. You reach for a favorite camera every day, but rarely think about how long it has been part of your life. Sumory brings expenses, activities and belongings together, like an old friend who helps you remember the little things. A record is more than an amount: it is a get-together, a journey or something you chose to bring home. SNAP A RECEIPT, SKIP THE TYPING Tap the scan button next to Record and point at a receipt, an order or a payment screenshot, or pick one from Photos or Files. Sumory finds the edges, straightens and crops it without filters, and reads the amount, date, merchant and category on your iPhone. You confirm each detail before it’s filled in. EVERYDAY EXPENSES, WITH CONTEXT Record income and spending with categories, notes and receipts. Find entries with search and filters, then look back by month, by year or over any dates you choose. Formal invoices go into the Invoice Cabinet, ready when it’s time to claim them. SHARED ACTIVITIES, CLEARER COSTS Give each trip, dinner or personal project its own activity. Keep it personal, or enable mixed bookkeeping to record different payers and expenses for one person or the group. Allocations take beneficiaries and participation dates into account, rather than simply dividing every bill equally. See who paid, what each person is responsible for and suggested settlements, and tap any member to see every bill they share and their part of it. Export an activity’s entries to an Excel workbook. Participants are names you record, not invited accounts. Sumory does not move money or provide live collaborative editing. A STORY FOR THE THINGS YOU OWN Follow an item from purchase and maintenance to sale or the end of use. Link existing entries to its timeline and see total investment, net cost and cost per day. Understand not just what you bought, but how it fits into your life. PHOTOS, HANDWRITING AND BILLS ON ONE PAGE Write a journal page for an activity or an item. Place photos, add text or sketches, and pin the related bills, so the story behind the spending stays with it. CURRENCIES AND FOUR THEMES Record in multiple currencies, with the exchange rate saved on each entry, so travel spending still makes sense later. Choose from four interface styles in light or dark mode. YOUR RECORDS, WITH A WAY TO KEEP THEM Start on your device without a separate account. When available, iCloud syncs records between devices using the same Apple Account. Export ledger rows as CSV or save a complete backup. No pressure to become a finance expert. Just a little clarity, and a place for the life behind the numbers.

What's New in Sumory

1.5

October 16, 2026

• Record from a receipt: a new scan button sits next to Record on the Ledger. Scan on the spot, or pick a receipt, order or payment screenshot from Photos or Files, and a new entry opens with it. • Built-in scanner: Sumory finds the receipt’s edges, straightens and crops it, and keeps the original colors with no filters. Scan several pages in a row, or drag the corners to adjust. • Check each detail before it’s filled in: the amount, currency, payment day, merchant, category and note are read on your iPhone and shown as a checklist. Anything you already entered stays as it is, only what you confirm is filled in, and you still decide when to save. A receipt added from the top of the record screen is read the same way. • Smoother switching: moving between Ledger, Activities, Items and Settings now flows from one tab to the next, and going back to the Ledger no longer stutters.
