Fantastic App
Bought this app a couple of years ago to help us plan our solar installation. It’s me of the best apps I’ve ever used, period. If you want an accurate way to plan PV layout; this is worth every penny.

I’m an architect been using this app for many years. I was fantastic to be able to go onto a site and know exactly where the sun will be at any time of the year valuable app highly recommended.
Opsolet
I bought the app to track the Sun during today’s eclipse. The app is astonishingly outdated, displaying data from 2021, and it fails spectacularly at locating the Sun. In its current state, this app should be removed from the Apple App Store.

Extremely Useful
Sun Seeker has a real elegant simplicity in its design and functionality that is very impressive. Every function is useful. The biggest issue is the inability to zoom in and out of the 3D mode, it would make it so much easier to get an overall perspective especially on the phone. And to a lesser degree the map could use a weather overlay so you could see how things like cloud cover were affecting the topography, but frankly this needs to be implemented on the Wind Seeker app first and then maybe added here.

iWatch bug
I love having Sun Seeker on my iWatch.
However, if you wear your watch on your left wrist with the digital crown on the left, then the sun path is rendered upside down.
I’m sure this will be a simple fix.
In my professional life as a Photographer, this was an excellent helper.
Nowadays as I travel more on holiday, I find it very useful to find the best sunbed around the pool!

Incredibly useful
I love this app. The 3D view has been incredibly useful in planning solar panel locations, finding sunrise/sunset times over the visible mountains, etc. Truly a gem of an app.
When I use this App I can see into the future!
Amazing App for visualising the seasons, presented in an easy to understand interface. Use it to figure out where to plant (sun/shade), positioning solar panels or orienting a house when building. Fascinating!

Doesnt have as many functions as other sun tracker apps and you have to pay to even try it out
Excellent planning tool.
I’ve been using Sun Seeker for 5 years and am still surprised by just how capable it is. It has masses of useful features but as a TV cameraman the ability to see where the sun will be in the sky for the rest of the day is brilliant. It really helps me plan a shoot.
