Very user friendly
Off all the sun tracker apps I have used, that have a free/lite version, Sun Tracker AR seems to be the most intuitive to use so far. Very useful for planning the ventilation / shading of our property (which is a sun trap - this is a good thing most of the year but during a heatwave this is a very useful tool). So far I rate it at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don't usually used paid / subscription apps, but if Sun Tracker AR premium version was ever on special offer I would definitely consider buying it.

I downloaded 4 apps, this was the smoothest one
Nach Update wurden vorhandene Funktionen gestrichen.
Jahre lang waren Funktionen vorhanden irgendwann nach einem Update wurde diese App kastriert.
Nun es gibt andere Anbieter z. B. Meine Gemeinde und einige online Portale dis das auch können und zwar den zeitlichen Sonnenverlauf über das ganze Jahr.

Die App zeigt noch nicht mal diese wichtigen Informationen an. Deinstalliert. Werde zu SunSurveyor wechseln

Hours of daylight & direction or home is facing
So many cool features.. comparing my families locations and planning vacations I get to see the hours of daylight each is trying.

Helping a novice gardener
It really is a great app, does what it says on the “tin” - I know where to plant new flowers so my garden actually looks like I know what I’m doing, “Mwahahahahaha, my cunning plan has zero limits “

A really useful app when camping and using solar energy

Great concept. This app does exactly what I needed it to do. My only comment is, the UI could be smoother.
Extremely useful but beware
This app is awesome. It’s surprising how accurate the app is at placing the sun in the sky. It’s very helpful for gardening when you’re trying to find how much sun a spot will get during the day.
However, users must be careful. When you give permission to access the camera for AR mode, you’re giving permission to access at all times. I first noticed when I closed the app in the garden, locked my phone and put it in my pocket and went inside. Then I opened the phone to use safari at my kitchen table the. Locked the phone again. An hour later I went back outside and reopened the app from the apps tray and the image that was on the AR screen was my kitchen table before the camera turned back on. This is a terrible breach of privacy.
Always make sure to close the app when you’re done using it.
I would have given 5 stars to this app if it weren’t for the terrible privacy issues.
