If planning a sequel, would it be possible to take more enemies and imagery from “Journey to the West,” and less from Mario Bros? Love the Monkey Pilgrim though.
Small detail: I don’t think they grow bananas in China, but good job having other fruit too. Needs more Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism!

Input detect problems
Pressing attack often causes jump instead. Seems like where buttons visually display isn't exactly where they detect from.
Graphic errors on menus.
Jumping, falling, and wall sliding movement feels awkward. Movement overall is unpleasant compared to other platformers.
