SunApp is an augmented reality application that visualizes the sun's position and path in the sky. It offers both a live AR view and a 2D map view to help users understand sunlight exposure throughout the year.
The compass accuracy in SunApp depends on an undistorted magnetic field around your device. Metallic objects or electrical equipment can impair directional accuracy, but the compass can be recalibrated easily.
SunApp offers two auto-renewing subscription plans: a monthly subscription for $2.49/month and a yearly subscription for $10.49/year, providing unlimited access to Premium features.
Yes, SunApp offers standard functions for free, including today's sun path, shortest/longest day paths, and today's sunrise/sunset. Premium functionality requires an in-app purchase subscription.
SunApp Premium includes the ability to view the sun's path and sunrise/sunset for any date, calculate sunlight hours and energy, mask obstructions, and save AR views as pictures or videos.
Yes, SunApp is perfect for Solar Industry (PV) Professionals for optimizing solar panel installation, solar site surveys, and awning installations by providing detailed sunlight exposure data.
The latest version of SunApp is 2.1.18, which was last updated on March 3, 2021. Update frequency can vary based on developer releases.
