Sunrise: KJV Audio Bible

Sunrise Version 2 Wow!! We couldn’t have expected the amount of positive feedback we’ve received from our awesome community since the launch of Sunrise! Thank you for all the great feature ideas and bug reports! We’ve been working like crazy to implement the suggestions you’ve sent our way and have packaged all your feedback into one major update: - Features DOWNLOAD AND LISTEN OFFLINE You can now download individual books or the entire Bible to your device and listen anywhere, without needing an internet connection. ICLOUD SYNC Favorites, highlights, folders, bookmarks, and history sync automatically between your iPhone and iPad (and soon your Mac!) when signed in to the same iCloud account. HISTORY Your activity will now be saved in history and synced across devices so you can easily find any passage you’ve read or listened to. SELECT MULTIPLE VERSES You can now select multiple verses! Touch and hold a verse, then tap Select More Verses to pick several, which you can share, save, or highlight at once. SHAREABLE VERSE CARDS Share verses as an image with friends and family, and optionally include a link to Sunrise to help us reach more people! IMPROVED SEARCH As you type, matching results appear in a list with your search terms highlighted, so you can quickly find what you're looking for. IMPROVED SLEEP TIMER Slide to any duration in five-minute steps, or stop at the end of the chapter. REFINED PLAYBACK SPEED Adjust the rate of speech between 0.5× and 2× with more granular control. MORE APP ICONS Pick from multiple icon designs for your Home Screen, anytime in settings. - Bug fixes & improvements A few users experienced an unexpected jump to the previous chapter when scrolling through Read Mode. The scroll positioning has been redesigned and should now be more stable. Tapping a verse other than the first verse of a chapter no longer causes the audio to pause and then play the first verse. Rotating your device, changing the text size, or switching themes caused the highlight to appear on the wrong words. The highlight now always appears on the word being read. Opening a verse from Favorites, a folder, a bookmark, or History sometimes showed a different verse than the one you selected. This type of navigation is now more stable across the app. The first screen sometimes took a moment to appear after opening the app. The app now prepares its text and highlighting data in the background, so it opens faster. During long listening sessions, when the audio reached the next chapter, that chapter's text sometimes stayed dim with no words highlighted until you scrolled. Highlighting now continues into the next chapter. The playback speed setting was not saved when you closed the app, so it was 1× the next time you opened it. The setting is now saved. The Ambient theme's sky used an estimated sunrise and sunset time, which could be off by an hour or more. It now uses the actual sunrise and sunset times for your time zone. Text sizing is now more consistent across the app. Body text now has a minimum size of 14pt to make elements like folder previews and bookmarks more readable. We hope you love Sunrise Version 2! Thank you again for being part of Sunrise and helping us bring a better, distraction-free Bible experience to more people around the world! We look forward to hearing more of your feedback!
