The best alarm for sunrise

Everyone needs to download this app. I feel much better waking and resting along with natures circadian rythm. No need to follow “5am” plans to make the best out of your day.

Just what I was looking for

The free version only allows for notifications at solar noon, which is not what I wanted. Apple charged me a bit more than $5 just once and now it gives me alarms at sunrise and sunset, which is exactly what I wanted. You can set it to any alarm sound you want, which is nice.

The new maps feature is chef’s kiss

this app has always been super simple and useful for me, but the new maps feature has added so much. I’ve been using it when searching for a new house to figure out where the sun will be during the day. As an avid gardener, this is super useful and exciting when looking at potential houses.. not to mention the reasonable one time purchase prices 🙌🏼

In app purchase price is one of the most reasonable of the sunrise/sunset apps that I looked at. And I'm happy that the app has widgets!

I have a few wish list items to make it 5 star. (1) Being able to set a preference for which view the app starts at. Some people might want the calendar table at startup, but I'd prefer to start with the Today view. (2) I use my tablet in portrait mode, so every time I start the app, I have to tap to get rid of the location pane, as it blocks the data pane. A minor annoyance, I know. As it is, I don't toggle locations, so it'd be fine if the location choices were in the settings menu.

Was excited now a bit bummed 🫤

I had this app on my android and loved it. I waited to switch to the iPhone because I couldn’t find it…then when I did it was a paid version which I did super excited that I found it -BUT it doesn’t let you choose your alarm anymore. I used to have my own sound playing. 🥲So I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 because on this paid version I don’t have the benefits I did on the free version on android. Otherwise, it’s still the best because you can adjust the alarm ⏰ time. Still worth the $3 but miss my alarm sound.

Hey! Thanks for the review. So sorry to disappoint — unfortunately the reason for the missing alarm is a platform limitation. iOS does not have any mechanism for developers to build alarm apps in the same way that Android does. Nonetheless, I am working on a workaround right now that should be almost functionally equivalent to the Android behavior. Stay tuned!

Don’t want military time ie 16:00 hrs. Uninstall

Absolutely love this app. As someone who likes to get on the water for fishing right when the sun is coming up, I can check ahead on whatever location I’m heading to and know exactly when to leave.

Favorite app for sunrise/sunset

My favorite part about this app is it is very simple and exactly what I need! I like to check the sunrise the night before so I can plan my morning walk before I start my day. There aren’t any ads which I find it hard to come across in an app.
