About
Will this room actually get any sun?
That's the question you have twenty minutes to answer while an agent waits in the hallway. Sunroom answers it. Point your phone at a window and it draws the sun's path across the view — where the sun is now, where it rises, and how far it drops in winter.
SUNROOM IS FREE. ALL OF IT.
Search any address, save as many viewings as you like, compare any date of the year. No subscription, no trial, no account, and no ads. Nothing is gated.
WHAT IT TELLS YOU
• The exact times direct sun reaches a window — "08:44 to 18:49" — not a vague rating
• How that collapses in winter, so you know what you're really buying
• Hours of direct sun per day on a five-step scale, from No direct sun to Full sun
• Sunrise, sunset, solar noon and golden hour for any address
• Every viewing saved side by side, so a shortlist becomes a comparison
THE THING MOST PEOPLE GET WRONG
A long summer day does not mean a sunny room. A south-facing window in Amsterdam on the longest day of the year gets direct sun from about 09:00 to 18:24 — nine hours, not the sixteen and a half hours of daylight, because the sun rises well to the north of east and spends the early morning behind the wall. Sunroom shows you the difference.
WHO IT'S FOR
Buyers and renters at a viewing. Anyone planning a garden, an extension, a desk, or a set of solar panels. Anyone who has ever moved in and discovered the living room is dark from October.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CAN'T SEE
Sunroom calculates for a clear horizon. It knows where the sun will be to a fraction of a degree, but it does not know about the building across the street or the tree in next door's garden. That's what the camera view is for — hold it up and see what's actually in the way.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything is calculated on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no network requests. Your saved viewings never leave the device. Apple's privacy label for Sunroom reads "Data Not Collected", and it means it.
