I consider Sunshine Village Banff to be one of the best I have skied anywhere in the world. Very fortunate to have this in my backyard and close enough for day trips. Love it.
Stuck on lift. No communications.
Stuck on Super Angel (not) Express for over 30 minutes. No communication or updates through the Messages feature of the app, nor any other platform. Calling went to a “we’re busy helping other guests.” No additional info or explanation provided.
Never updated correctly
Can’t trust what’s being said, especially the snow report is updated late and is never the same as what’s being posted on Instagram & their website. They all never match and you don’t know what to trust. Terribly managed.

Still my favourite way to spend a day in The Canadian Rockies. A fast and efficient lift system and friendly staff every where you look is always a treat. I came here first as a 12 yr old dreamer and am now blessed to call Canmore home leaving me a much shorter distance to SSV rather than Winnipeg. I confess as a former snowhost I do have a bit of a bias and will see if they let me back. The app brings the convenience and feedback that I appreciate. Food and beverages are first rate as well as the views from everywhere. Had to chuckle as I bumped into friends from Canmore as well as getting to ride up the Gondola with three lovely staff that work at the Spa! Skiing on a Sunshine Super Card and fabulous equipment from Sport Garage and Gear Up in Canmore and I feel like I am 12 again!

App doesn’t work
Y’all keep making this app worse. Last year you removed vertical and runs, this year many users have invalid app token message. Not allowing us to upload stats or even view the leaderboard.

Other than this being the best resort in Alberta the app is very direct and you can find whatever you’re looking for very quickly!

The women’s washrooms always have a long wait. Not very clean.
