Perfectly enough
This app completely hits the mark of what I was looking for (sunset, true solar noon…) without feeling bogged down with more than I wanted. Visually, it’s simple and lovely, and I like being able to explore future moon phases and the sunrise/sunset changing. In the world of commercial chaos, I’m also trying to support the Good from independent developers/makers so I finally bought the full version just as thanks. If you enjoy it, it is worth so much more than the $3 they ask! (Important note: I never felt that the “basic” app was missing anything and there were never ads.) What it includes is so subtle and appreciated that it’s the only app beyond texts that I allow notifications for.

Beautiful & educational. One of my favorite apps of all time.
Stops notifications after a few days.
I am regularly having to open the app to restart the notifications. It’s very annoying.
In addition often times when I tap on our notification, the app is showing me out of date information like it will show me a time of 4 PM when the notification was for 7 AM

The best sun and moon app
I installed a few of these and paid for some but canceled my subscription before trial ended. This app has the best UI and UX. It’s easy to navigate. I immediately did a lifetime purchase. I don’t regret. It should be on top of the results Apple shows in the App Store. Thanks developers! Downside: when scrolling left and right, the movement is so fast that it passes a few days. Please fix that. I’ll give it 5 star once that is fixed.

There’s a lot of information in this app, presented in a clear and simple way. It’s a great way to receive little reminders of the natural rhythms going on around us when we happen to be staring at a screen. If you want to have a better understanding of what the sun and moon are up to, get this app.

Guys, the app is gorgeous and really neat, but if you can’t change the location (in iOS 18) to where you are it becomes a 5 min shiny toy. Not everyone leaves in Oakland, you know… Please fix it - there’s no other app out there more convenient than this one. Need it!
Exceptionally well made!
It is a beautifully made application to track the sun throughout the day as well as for past and future states, all in an extraordinary well made interface with fluid animations. There is also the option to zoom further in a day or zoom out to the extent that whole years are visible (also animated fluently). I will happily pay the extra 3$ for the astronomical twilights as I need them, but I also hope I can contribute with that a little. As a Muslim who needs to keep track of the sun for the prayers I must say I enjoy using your app waaay more than dedicated “prayer time apps”. If I could spread this gem I think the whole muslim community will switch ;)

Alarms are not consistent.

The tutorial says if you click around in the app, you will find so many useful features and I agree. I don’t usually review apps unless they are extraordinary and this one is. Five stars well deserved!

I’m loving this app
Terrible app
This is a terrible app, and it’s my third time trying to leave a review for it!
I have a reminder set based on sunset every day. Even though the reminder stays on, I have to toggle it off then back on every day or else it won’t work. And you can only set the reminder in specific increments. I’d like to be able to set it for 20 minutes before sunset, but the options are 15 or 30 minutes. And, you can only set one reminder per event, which is annoying. There are better apps out there!!!
