User reviews

App works great with VoiceOver, but no band to try for myself.

The reason why I gave this one star, as for the following “. “Move your arm naturally. You don’t have to lift your arm to detect obstacles.“Why would this be, if you have to do the upper arm body protection technique anyway for the tree branch 50 feet ahead of you if that tree branch is detected? I will not be using this. I will find another way. This is not acceptable, not having to lift your arm, and possibly getting hurt.

Love it!

I got a Sunu Band for Christmas, and thought it may be useful. Less than a week later, and it’s indispensable! The indoor mode helped me navigate my punk band’s shared practice space without bumping into equipment or breaking social distancing. The watch helps me sleep, because I no longer rely on my phone and all its distractions for the time. Highly recommending, and highly grateful for Sunu.

Stronger, better, and more to offer.

I am using the beta version of this app right now, and they have finally made improvements to this app where it is very similar to the version on android, and they have made several improvements to the way the app looks and works, with many more options, and capabilities. However with the beta there are as expected some problems. When you try to click on certain buttons, they do not activate for example the update button does not work along with the calibration feature, and I will report more as I spot them, and there are some new features as well that I think I could use some description next to some of the options. Other than that, the app seems to work very well, and I can still use the band without any problems. I also ask that you keep an eye on the battery gauge part of this app, because my battery is constantly listed as 0%, no matter what battery power the band has and how long the band has been on the charger. LOL. With many more options and customizable settings it brings a whole new avenue to this product however some of the buttons in some of the tabs just need to be able to activate now. I am very much enjoying this app and the products, and I’m excited to see what the future brings. Thank you to everyone at Sunu inc. thank you for making a beautiful and fairly inexpensive watchband that helps us blind and visually impaired people give less kisses to inanimate objects and more of them to our significant other. LOL.

Sunu works OK

Have just started using the device recently. So far it has worked as every ties and there is a possibility of a higher rating in the future. Ok

The app for a cool sensory augmentation device

Still contains bugs but developers are responsive to feedback. Very accessible.
