One improvement would be to allow the user to adjust the water volume to better suit their mug, etc. Another option would to allow users to input recipes of their own.

Great idea with a lot of potential.
This is a well designed app with lots of potential. The interface is understandable and clean. I would love to see a personal recipe option where someone could write their own brews with steps and pour times. Again, Great start and I hope it is developed further.
