Great little game. Some game center knock off covering it up with dark patterns, trying to get you to sign in and force purchases. It's just gross now.
GameClub is dead
Take Two Interactive bought GameClub and shut down the servers so sadly this amazingly fun game once again no longer plays.

Used to be one of my favorite iPhone games, usually couldnāt go wrong with Vlambeer but now when I try to play this I get gameclub pushes and requests for my info.

Iāve had several high scores show up on the leaderboards as reduced or, even worse, fail to register at all.

Ruined
I loved this game. Bought it years ago on an old ipod touch and was really disappointed when it was never updated for ios8 (i think), so I was really excited to see it back on the app store after all this time. However, this port is atrocious. Gameclub has ruined this game with distractions, bad UI, a truly egregious subscription fee, and meaningless objectives. How are you supposed to play the game when buttons are locked in a location where your thumbs physically block the screen? Why would I want to sit through literally minutes of meaningless pop ups and social features after death when it used to be an instant restart? How come without a $25 subscription fee Iām subjected to both ads AND a 7 minute trial period? Fortunately this game should still be free on Steam, so while not portable, at least you can enjoy the game there.

Good game butā¦
The controller support is terrible, I canāt use my analog stick for movement, up is jump for some reason and there are no control options to make this game everything it could be.
Was once a gem that has turned to trash
This used to be one of my favorite mobile games to play back in middle school. It recently popped back into my memory and I was excited to see it was on the App Store still.
After downloading it and playing my trial, I have come to the decision to never play this again.
What once was a fun game I could spend hours on has turned into garbage adware used to do nothing but push a subscription service.
Not to mention the awful controls and constant pop ups that cover the arrows so you canāt move and you die faster.
Donāt waste your time. Itās not worth it.

Needs a bug fix
This game is great, Iāve been playing it since 2013 but it needs a bug fix. It has this glitch where if you click the left button it gets stuck stays moving you left. It has killed me a lot of times and gets pretty annoying. Also I feel like there should be an option to increase the button size for people with bigger fingers. Other than that the game is great and I enjoy it a lot still. Hopefully you guys get around to it.

Straight Up Scam
This game is free on steam for PC and I love the game to bits. One of the first steam games I got into but the fact that I have to pay for it on my phone is straight bull.
Okay Job on last Update
Thank you for the fast update that fixed my controls. I was struggling to hit the buttons because the screen was optimized for my larger screen. But now that they work The buttons are too small and close together. My fat fingers keep making me jump and turn the wrong way. If you could add more customization to the controls that would be very helpful. And also nobody knows how to get all the secret characters so give us some hints.

Newest update added bugs instead of fixing them
This is an incredibly fun game, but the most recent update (3/4/2020) basically made the game unplayable for me. Prior to the update it ran perfectly fine on my iPhone 8 Plus, but now it freezes up every time I grab a weapon crate and sometimes it doesnāt register when I press the jump button. As fast paced as the game is, these two bugs get me killed often and are frustrating enough that Iām not playing it anymore. Hopefully another update can be issued soon that fixes these problems.

The good: this game is awesome. Itās fun and challenging.
The bad: the latest update makes the game crash when choosing the 2nd or third level. This needs to be addressed because the later levels are unplayable.
Nothing of value was added to the game once it went to Game Club. Achievements were removed and nothing was added. Same game from years ago. How about new content?

Thanks for the feedback! A new version just went live in the App Store that should resolve this issue. If it doesn't please write us at support@gameclub.io and we will look into it further. As to the value of the updates, we updated Super Crate Box to work on modern devices after its long hiatus from the App Store, which took a fair amount of development. We'll definitely take your suggestion of new content into consideration, though!
control issue
Thank you for reviving the gameļ¼one control issue is that when pressing the left buttonļ¼if you press a bit too leftļ¼it wouldn't register at onceļ¼but after a second or two the button displays pressedļ¼and the character starts to move. Other buttons does not seem to have this problem.

Abandoned.
This was a wonderful premium game. The developers made all sort of promises about regular updates and then quickly abandoned the game. Even though it came out after the iPhone 5, they never bothered to support its resolution. Their last update note from 6 years ago been apologizes for the delay...
Now the game has been resurrected as part of a subscription service.
If you had bought the game back when it was premium, after wading through a bunch of pop ups, you can āunlockā the game for free.
While the game does fill the screen of modern iPhones, unfortunately the buttons are very poorly placed and are not moveable.

Crash upon startup
I love this game and used to play it all the time on my iPod touch 2nd gen, so I was excited to see that it was back on the App Store. Unfortunately it doesnāt work, crashing when I open it.

I love this game!
The only thing keeping me from rating this 5 stars is it doesn't have iOS 11 compatibility. This squeezes the screen and it's quite annoying. Please update!!
