HORRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY
Don’t buy this! Doesn’t even work. So disappointed because the old data tracker was great.
Good Features
I would say that putting in clients was time consuming. Therapist may want to work on adding clients on caseload by day or a few at a time. However, once the goal bank got set up, it was easier to create new clients.
Some features I would like:
I have accidentally hit the wrong button when tracking data. I would like an undo button or something.
I would like a goals to add the percentages after the end of session. I want each goal targeted to have the totals added together and then divided for the percentages. As of right now I have to do that work.
I track information on my IPad…. I would like an option to enlarge the app so I can hit the buttons more easily

Worth it!
I’ve use this app for over five years now. Getting your goal Banks set up will take a minute however I find this to be one of the most useful apps for independent ABA contractors and school-based personnel. I love it for its flexibility for type of data collected, type of responses, and anecdotal notes. I can export the dot data in multiple files, export the grass, the one thing I cannot do is add information to their graph in the app such as phase change lines and condition change lines. It’s never crashed and it has a back up feature. If you miss something in the notes, you can go back and add it later. It’s quite versatile when you learn to use it. It won’t write the programs for you so you don’t have to worry about cookie cutter programs.

Absolute Waste; DO NOT BUY
This app is horrible. I had been looking forward to using it this school year, but it’s awful, and I have now completely wasted ten dollars. It’s not user friendly. It crashes constantly. It is nothing like what I had researched it would be. It does not work for basically anything.
Great for busy SLPs
I wasn’t sure I was going to like this because of some of the reviews, but I find it to be very versatile and convenient. My district has been all about graphs lately, and this just does it for me. Could I do it in a google doc? Yeah, but I would have to program it in addition to all the data entry work up front, plus still probably take data on paper in sessions and transfer it later when I was on my computer. With this, I can have my iPad up during activities and swipe easily between my students in a group to enter their data when it’s their turn. Saves paper, saves time. Then I throw it all in their IEP and take screenshots of the graphs to throw in a narrative report. Wham, bam, data, ma’am.

Good until recently
Love this app, but recently it has been ending sessions when I switch to any other app and erasing all my data in the process. PLEASE FIX THIS!
Pretty good
It took a while for me to set up and I liked the original, but I am getting the hang of it. I will update with suggestions in the future.

I have used the original for years. I have shared my love for your original app with countless therapists. I’m about to begin a new school year and have purchased this updated version and for the first time in 6 years I may have to pull out my old paper data sheets and binders because this is nothing like the original. The original was so easy to set up. This is not! For someone who has used Data Tracker exclusively for everything I expected the process to go quickly & smoothly. It has not! I would pay anything to get the original back!!! The time it saved is worth any price. Not having to carry binders is worth the price. Now it looks like my choice is to spend hours trying to figure this crazy new app out or pull the binders back out. So disappointed. I was a loyal data tracker user. Now I’m just frustrated

Annoying Clicking
OMG! I am so disappointed with one particular part of this app that it trumps everything else. I was debating between this and Percentally Pro 2, and now should have probably gone with the latter. While this app is useful for data tracking, keeping attendance, and not having lose papers everywhere there is a LOUD, ANNOYING CLICKING sound that CANNOT be TURNED OFF EVEN WHEN YOU MUTE YOUR Ipod, Ipad, AND Iphone. SERIOUSLY?! One does not need a degree in marketing to know that that feature is not a selling point. What SLP, OT, PT, or Teacher wants to hear, or have the student hear, a LOUD click each time a data point is marked with NO option to turn it off. We are talking 50-200 LOUD clicks during your group sessions (even 10 clicks per 4 kids for 2-3 goals a piece). It is SO ANNOYING that it makes me wish I could request a refund. Honestly, they updated this app and did not think professional and students would not want the option to take data SILENTLY or at least quietly (NO VOLUME CONTROL FOR IT AT ALL)? I can see children getting distracted or annoyed by the clicking and being unable to concentrate during activities. I HATE THIS about the app. Fix it or you will have so many unhappy customers. CANNOT recommend until they fix this.

Not user friendly
I just wasted my money.
Bring back the option to tally goal data :(
I had the original Super Duper Data Tracker app ($1.99) and loved it but it wouldn’t work with the new iPhone update. I splurged to get the Pro version and am so disappointed that at $9.99 it doesn’t have an option to tally. This was SOOOO important for tracking behaviors and number of times kids initiated convo, completed tasks, took turns, and how many prompts were required in a certain time frame.
The new features are great but I would go back to the cheap version if I could.

Data Tracker Pro allows for tallying data! You simply need to create a goal with the following settings: Have the "Continuous" option set to "on". The goal type can be standard, numbers, or letters. For whatever type you choose simply deselect what options you don't want to tally. Finally, add the students you want assigned to this goal and save. Some good features
Set up is time consuming. But once you get it set up its ok. Like to tally and see percentage right away. Needs to have the ability to delete a goal that you didn't end up working on for that session only OR if no data is taken on a particular goal that session do not have it show up on the graph as 0. Also really need the ability to go into each student, select a goal, and select any sessions you wish to have averaged. At progress report time, I need to have an average of sessions I choose. This is the main reason I don't use this app. I need the ability to tally and get a percentage AND the ability to average the goal and sessions I choose.

Doubly Disappointed!
DO NOT BUY THIS APP! I thought this app had been fixed because I talked to someone at the company about it. Spent the money and used it for a month and a half. I am now missing valuable information. It's not even saved on my phone, much less the cloud! I emailed the company and got NO response - not even an "I'm sorry". What a waste of my money and time. DOUBLY DISAPPOINTED.

Update screwed me!
I liked this before you updated the application it screwed me over. A lot of my data disappeared and I need that for notes. Thanks a lot!
Too many glitches to count
This app is definitely not ready for prime time. Since installing IOS 8 (and all its updates), this app continually crashes, loses goals, rearranges kids in groups, and won't sync with iPad/iPhone. I have had to re-type goals too many times to count. When I've added new goals after an IEP meeting, the next time I open the app, it has deleted the new goals I typed (and saved) and has gone back to the old goals. I don't have time to deal with this but the thought of entering all my student data into another app at this time of the year is overwhelming to me. Super Duper, I expected better from you.

Bad app
This is the worst app that I have! If I could give 0 stars that would be better. Almost at the end of the year and the data erased. I always used in my iphone I putted to sync with my Ipad and that never happened. So now I lost all my data for the end of the year that I need to make progress reports. I would never recommend this app!

Not worth the price difference
I loved the original Super Duper Data Tracker.
This Pro version does not allow you to "easily" graph all of the goals of 1 student together. You instead have to email yourself each goal individually for a useable chart to include with progress notes.
If you want to email session data, (for use as a progress note) you have to email yourself each individual session. Does not save time. It actually creates more work.
Save yourself the time and money and get the "regular" Super Duper Data Tracker, stay away from the pro. I now have to go back into the original data tracker and re-input my data so as to make it useful.
SUPERDUPER: Please add in a feature (similar to the original one) about being able to email/compile/chart all session data together. They were great.

Frustrating
Wish these reviews had been available when I first bought this app. I loved the original Data Tracker, so didn’t think twice about buying this one. The ease of putting in the goals and setting up groups was great - but then I went to use the data I had collected, and it was gone :( Not once, but twice!!!!
And of course, this happened when I needed the data to write progress for a new IEP. Not up to the usual Super Duper standards. Very disappointed in this product.

Disappointed
When this app works, it is great. I have experienced the same glitches as others. It's just not stable enough to be practical:(
Unreliable
Initially I like this app because it's syncs between my iPad and iPhone and had iCloud backup. I was able to set it up easily for taking data during sessions. However it started getting buggy and sometimes would not open on my iPad when I needed it for sessions. The developer released an update to fix glitches. I made sure all my data was back- up to the cloud so that I could install the update. It was at this point that the data tracker pro dumped all my data including the data on the iCloud. This was right before progress reports were due. Our documentation Is too important to trust to this app.
