Super Pigeon

SUPER PIGEON is a satirical retro platformer about how Swiss cities really deal with their pigeons. Every level is a real policy. ZÜRICH — the "killing" programme. You play a hi-vis city worker: catch the pigeons, deliver them to the covered cage. At the end, the game gives you exactly one option. You don't have to press it. BASEL — the counter-example. A feeding ban since 1988, supervised lofts, egg swapping. Dodge the Gugge clique and a Waggis lobbing Fasnacht oranges, and bring your pigeons to the loft instead. No button required. LUZERN — the feeding ban, from the wrong side of the law. Your sack holds feed, not birds — and feeding is exactly what's forbidden (§32). Carry it past twelve hungry pigeons to the checkpoint at the town hall. Feed them and you're fined; the only clean way to empty the bag is the city's own loft — the loophole that isn't one. BERN — the famous «Berner Modell»: egg swaps and endoscopic sterilization, one bird at a time, under anesthesia. Swap the real eggs for plaster, carry them to the exchange depot, and bring the pigeons in. The clinic and its button are waiting — but so is a citizens' loft up on the Münster platform: move all twelve in there and no one needs anesthesia, an operating table, or a button at all.
