This game is a masterpiece
The weird storyline. The characters. The music. The scenery. The full use of touchscreen gameplay. The puzzles. The ending! Complete masterpiece of a phone game 10/10
Seriously stands the test of time as well, as a (currently) 14 year old game! First played it back then on iPad and remembered it all these years later to try again on iPhone. Not changed a bit.
It's tricky, but entirely possible without using a walk through either. Well worth getting fully immersed and trying everything.

It’s super pitty that there is even that rotation bug on iPad.
Utterly sublime
Sword & Sworcery is hands down my favourite game of all time - I simply love every aspect of it. The music is out of this world, and is such a core part of the experience. Above all, what makes this game stand out is its tone and feel - it manages to create an atmosphere that feels like you are somewhere special, but yet without taking itself too seriously. The gameplay is not too taxing but with just enough challenge to give you a sense of achievement - but really it’s all just an excuse to keep listening to Jim Guthrie’s phenomenal soundtrack. Check it out - you will not regret it.

Bug with waterfalls
Great game! However there’s a bug where I can’t get a dark moon sprite. It’s the level where you need to strum the waterfalls from smallest to largest- the waterfall with 4 streams doesn’t light up despite strumming them in order.
This is my favorite game.
i love this game so much i play it about once a year so i can try to forget it a bit and enjoy it every time. it's so beautiful and fun and funny and creepy and good.
Issue
Im not sure if its my device that is the problem, but i cant make it past the 2nd part because in order to complete a puzzle in it, i need to move the screen around. But i cant because clicking and pressing on the sides of the screen (like it told me to do) doesnt work. So now im stuck halfway through the second part.

No sound
Played this game on android a long time ago and loved it. Unfortunately no sound on iPad mini
Good sound and art, terrible gameplay
I wanted to like it so badly, it looks like a lot of love went into it, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it was made with gameplay in mind at all.
The controls are buggy even when walking (which takes way too long). The boss fighting is not intuitive or timed correctly, so you basically have to do it a ton of times to get it just right, and every time you die and restart, it plays an unskippable two minute scene at the beginning. The puzzles require you to restart the entire app a couple of times if you’re not in the exact spot when you do the sorcery part (you get stuck and can’t move the screen to click the objective). Not only that, but it is the most random series of walking around, then once you find a spot where the objective is you sit with no instruction or lore hints, and you just spam click around the screen till it works, it’s not a real puzzle.
It was such a beautiful and loving design, and I know that it was basically made just for the music, but it’s still a game and that’s the main part we need to focus on getting through in order to even enjoy the music.

need update
The loading takes forever- paid game but can’t play, won’t load
Fixed! I’m so happy
I recently downloaded this game and so far was completely enjoying it, no issues whatsoever and it felt like a unique game environment. Unfortunately, after I updated my iPhone 11 Pro Max to the newest iOS 16, rotating my phone sideways makes the lobby screen turn into a warped stretched version of itself. I am posting this information here in hopes the devs will be made aware of the issue and can resolve it. I’m unable to find or click on any in game link to report the issue due to the nature of the issue itself. I will, of course, update my Star Rating as soon as this can be fixed and the game can be played on my device again. I’m super looking forward to that because it was really interesting and had a dope soundscape I was eager to further explore.
Edit: updated my rating to 5 stars after seeing that the devs fixed this problem. I’m so thrilled. Playing it again now. I’m just sorry it took me a year to check back and see that there was an update addressing the issue I had. I love this game

We've discovered the the latest iOS update has changed some functionality that we relied on to make this game work. As a temporary workaround you can enable Rotation Lock to play the game correctly while we work on a proper fix. Hope this helps!

Ce jeux est incroyable et vous vous en souviendrez longtemps après l’avoir finit. L’histoire est assez simple mais ça n’est pas la raison principale pour y jouer. C’est vraiment pour l’Ambiance très particulière avec un A majuscule. À acheter les yeux fermés. Dommage que l’éditeur n’ait pas fait une suite…

I remember first trying this game out a few years ago and had a blast going through it. The incredible soundtrack is what brought me back years later to complete it a second time.

Unplayable
The game is unfortunately completely unplayable on newer iOS version (currently 16.3). Why is this still in the App Store?
Too Hard!!!!
I honestly couldn’t get past the title and the only way I ever got past was by opening it through The App Store but it only worked once and I accidentally quit the app and I got very bored very quickly. 😔
