Updates lost all data and broke restore function

Updated App is still broken as of Issue is not resolved as of 3.1.14.
I backed up before update. After latest update lost all custom pages and all history. So I figured I could use the restore function. Well the backup would not restore after many attempts. It gave an error “There was an error opening your database.”
Last working version is 2.1.4
