FAQ

What does the SuperCycle Bike Computer app do?

This app acts as a digital bike computer, using your phone's GPS and connected Bluetooth sensors to track and map your bicycle rides. It displays real-time data such as speed, distance, elevation, calories burned, cadence, and power, allowing you to analyze your performance.

What kind of sensors does the app support?

The app supports most Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors, including power meters (single and dual-sided), speed and cadence sensors (separate or 2-in-1), and heart rate monitors. If you don't have sensors, it can use your phone's GPS for speed, distance, and elevation tracking.

Is the app free to use?

Yes, the app is completely free with no ads, paywalls, or subscriptions. All functionality is available at no cost. The developer offers an optional 'buy me a coffee' in-app purchase if you like the app.

How does the app handle user privacy?

The app is designed with privacy in mind. No website login is required, and collected data does not leave your phone unless you choose to export it. Advertisers do not track your activity through the app.

Can I customize the data displayed during my ride?

Absolutely. The app is highly customizable, allowing you to save sensor configurations for multiple bikes, select different bike layouts, add numerous data display grids, and choose from 12 data grid layouts. You can also select digital and analog gauge widgets to show only the information you want.
