Always looked forward to viewing me and my friends listening stats each week, recent updates deleted our entire group and its whole history. After updating my app, my personal listening history is gone, very cool let’s just ruin our users experience for no reason.

Please don’t listen to the haters! This app is wonderful and only continues to get better! With every update it gets more interesting and involved, and the developers obviously rlly care about the people they’re making the app for. I’m signing all of my friends up ASAP!
One question for the devs: what are tastemakers? It was never explained to me at least and I’m a bit confused about them. Is it possible for anyone to become one?

Music Lover needs a Recap Section
app is amazing and fun! i love listening to music constantly and see what sort of music my friends would get to up weekly!! monthly recaps would be awesome too! as well as a section where your weekly/monthly recaps can be found as at the moment the recaps are mixed in with listens! but other than that, i love the app very much!!

It’s a cool app and a cool concept. I like that they have a second for all ur cd’s and vinyls and stuff, but I do have one problem with this app… It just does not sync properly to Spotify (and I’m guessing other music platforms?) so on a band i actually have like 2k+ minutes streamed it’s saying I have 5 minutes 😭😭😭

been using this app since 2023 and i love the way it’s grown. all the new features give a lot of stats you can’t find anywhere else. it glitches sometimes but it’s still super cool

ive been on superfan for a few years now, i've never written an app review in my life but the fact that they paywalled everything pmo so much that i decided to change that. this sucks

Fun app usually but lately every time I try open the app it doesn’t open and says ‘even apps need a day off too’ but like what’s the point of having them if they don’t work
not the same :(
used to be the best and coolest app ever to see music stats, now the layout is weird and it just isn’t the same as it used to be, you have to pay for it to be fun

Superfan is genuinely one of the greatest apps to ever exist, simply for the fact that it allows you to track the concerts and shows you have been to. It is my favorite feature and I use it all the time, but I wish it was a bit more intuitive. It would be nice if there was a way to easily search for an artist and see if/when you have seen them before as well as how many times you have seen them, and where. Add a search function to the concerts section!

Hey!! Thanks for the updated review! Genuinely never thought of adding a search to the concerts section, but I can prob do that! Have you tried the new timelines on the artist pages? If you search for an artist on the explore page, when you're on their page you'll see a timeline of your whole history of a fan, including all of your concerts with photos. Sounds like you might enjoy that :)

I love the app and look forward to checking every Friday but for the last 3 weeks I can only see the recap of 4/10 members of my group
Super Cool Idea!
I think this app is a great idea and I really hope it takes off. I have a couple suggestions but overall it’s a perfect app. Exactly what I was looking for! My grievances are only that it should have a section for records you want or like a wishlist for music you’re looking for ! It also needs to do better about having information on black artists. I swear I couldn’t find any Summer Walker on there or any recent Beyoncé concerts and that’s crazy like it’s BEYONCÉ. You gotta get updated on that. But anyway it’s overall amazing and you need to tell your friends about this app!

Used to love this app
Used to look forward to getting the weekly rundown of what my friends were listening to, absolutely loved it. 5 stars. Then they updated it and the new UI does a poor job of concisely presenting the information you’re interested in. Just a long page of large boxes for each song. If you click on each friend you get a Spotify wrapped style rundown which is fine as an option, but shouldn’t be the primary way to see what people are listening to. Theres no distinction between when your friend group ends and random songs they listened to begins. There’s no “check at a glance” option anymore. Just feels confusing. The week closes when I’m at work, then I just forget to go back and look. I used to take a glance, something would look interesting and I’d remember to check back.
Users should be presented with a quick summary of by buddies tunes like how it used to be. The whole Spotify wrapped style thing is great when you’ve got down time but it should be a secondary option. Long story short, it feels cumbersome now and I haven’t checked it in weeks. Posting this in hopes that they restructure. Great app, just can’t really use it on the fly anymore.

New update is so bad
I’ve been using Superfan for years but this new update is so unbelievably bad. It took me more than 30 minutes to recover my account, to the point where I almost gave up and deleted the app. I love the social aspect and seeing my music stats but wow that was so awful and frustrating
