my favorite app. but, the biggest problem's that it doesn't support iCloud backup. after changing into your new phone, you always lose all your learing data. what a pity

This app is an incredible way to learn a foreign language, However the app sometimes crashes. I hope this will be fixed as soon as possible.
A language essential
This is close to better than having a native speaker. Prepare to gobble up vocabulary. I chewed through 300 Ukrainian verbs like they were popcorn. Must-have app.
Much better than Quizlet
Although Quizlet has an excellent user interface, what really matters for a language learner is what's under the hood. Supermemo's spaced repetition logarithm makes all the difference. The words I learn easily stop appearing in my daily stack so that I can focus on what doesn't stick readily.
The program works best for me with my own content uploaded to the free website account. I've used it to study Spanish, French, German, Latin and history facts.
There IS a learning curve to using the program and the developers really ought to produce some tutorials, but in this case the effort invested gives measurable results that are better than what I've experienced with any other method anywhere!

Non-working poorly ported garbage - waste of $
I tried the $5 Spanish photos in-app purchase. What you get is a bunch of low rez screen shots of an old Windows program with to touch interface. Wasted half an hour trying to get the horrible clunky interface to make some sense with no luck. Worst "iOS" download I have tried since iOS 2 - thought junk like this didn't make it into the store anymore.

Great for memorising my medical stuff
It is very handy to have all of my questions available on the iPhone. I can memorise whenever I get 5 minutes. Supermemo ensures I only memorise what I am about to forget. Seems to work from what I can tell. Difficult to create content, so I do it on the PC and then import it.
Great for language learners
Using Español Extremo decks (basic and grammer) has greatly improved my Spanish. The recordings have been a great help and I use them most days, but can they be turned off when needed.
Not as good as the Palm version
I was user of the Palm version of super memo by Mapletop software. It was a very comprehensive flash card program and it used sophisticated methods to help you memorize words but the best part was you could create your own flashcards easily on your computer and then import them into super memo. Very long lists of words could easily be created and then imported it made it very nice you could create various categories for your words and I found it very useful. It seems as if there is no connection between the Palm SuperMemo and this iPhone or iOS SuperMemo and that seems to be a bit of a loss to me. Something should really be done or made more apparent by them to show us how to make long lists of words easily entered into this program.

amazing
the forgetting index and repeats (which can be controlled within the app settings) are what really make this app, and of course all versions of it, stand out. simple interface, trusted software and research. amazing for vocabulary, and any type of self-instated learning (less for classwork, since this would eventually be long term memory)

The Create Your Own Course option is awesome...just wish they had more courses for download
So far so good.
I have only used this app for a day, and so far I like it. Haven't tried all of the features but learning vocabulary should be fairly easy with the remind tool.
Pretty darned good
Very nice app. A few gripes, though:
1. The stats are a little hard to figure out. I wish they were explained better.
2. The audio "play" buttons ( in German courses at least) are way too tiny. There's real estate to make them bigger, so why make them so hard to hit.
3. I know you can make your own courses and that is great, but takes time. I love the German course content and sure wish there was something similar for Latin. Really? No Latin? Come'on add Latin please.
4. There seems to be no way to submit suggestions for corrections. There is simply TREMENDOUS content in the German courses, but I have found a few translation errors. I tried submitting these to their website (with difficulty... They have several), but I never got a reply and no correction was ever made.
5. In the German courses at least, the stupid background artwork (totally useless) only makes reading the example text very difficult. Please provide an option to disable the pointless pictures.

Best of its kind
SuperMemo is unquestionably the best program of its kind and the language modules are well thought out and well structured. Nothing else that I've seen comes close to matching SuperMemo as a valued tool.

Super easy and handy
Super help with learning. I used it in 98 and now with synchronisation I love it. I build my own course while studying and then it helps me memorise new material.
Some problems while synchronising and they did not support the problem. They said they are working on other platforma right now and cannot give support. Reinstalling the app did help

The future of flash cards
I mean, this is so much better than flash cards apps, as it does the hard job for you: the organization of the review part, essential to remember what you study forever.
Excellent app
This app uses methodology far superior to standard flashcard or wrote memory exercises. Especially useful is the ability to create your own review content. Program is easily learned and navigated. Thank you for making information retention so much more efficient and effective!

The app uses these responses to decide when to bring up each item for review. And voila, a day or so later when you are about to forget the data, it reminds you again.
This process of reminding you just before you've forgotten causes one to increase his ability to recall it for a longer period, ultimately "installing" it into your long term memory.
Since each person is different the algorithm adjusts your review schedule based on your honest recall each time. Eventually, you will not be reminded for days, then weeks, months and so on!

NEEDS SOME FIXING
The navigation buttons are on top of the sentences and sometimes on top of the audio button. Please make the navigation simpler and continuous. Audio button is slow to respond -- sometimes I have to press the button three or four times before it responds.
