What is wrong with you Supermico?
Would it really be too much effort to fix this so that the window is not rotated 90 degrees?

This app is so convenient to control the IPMI remotely. Could you make it work in landscape mode? I run in my Mac and the KVM console is in portrait mode which is hard to use.
How can this app be such hot garbage?
Supermicro makes amazing hardware, built for longetivity and reliability, but this app is the exact opposite of that. The KVM, especially is unusable. The keyboard blocks the view of the screen, instead of shifting the screen up, on a Mac, the KVM is sideways and forces you to use a smushed on screen keyboard?? You can't even use a physical keyboard. This is very poorly implemented. I'd use the web application, but it development was also abandoanded and the Java web-applets are being blocked from running, no matter how many security protocols I try to disable in Java.

Wish it worked better
While technically it does connect and function, display resolution is awful and the display is rotated 90 degrees on my Macbook Pro

The ability to have notes for each device. So once I've added a server, a notes tab where we can put notes or schedules for each device that I can pull up when I click on the device.
Console unusable on M2
I could almost allow for the rotation issue and have this tool as emergency use only, but it won't accept any keyboard input. I can only use the onscreen keyboard. Try typing a proper root password with that!

I love Supermicro and their history as a scappy purveyor of fine hardware. I've spent a lot of money over 20 years for their gear, I am very loyal to the brand. But this kind of thing with ILO/IPMI has come up in the past. The servers are all X10 motherboards which are hardly dead. HTML console over current spec HTTPS/TLS is the obvious solution here, but we are being left out to dry. It's really disappointing.

With MikroTik and WireGuard or similar you may safely rule all your servers on your fingertips! Brilliant, but better stay with X10 and up systems!

Could easily be a five-star app...
...but on my MacBook Air M2, the KVM display is rotated 90°, so pretty much unworkable.
Even more frustratingly, it opens correctly for a split-second, then rotates.
If you don't need the KVM feature, you may still find this app very useful.

KVM Rotation bug on M1
KVM is nearly useless on an M1 Mac. Stuck in portrait, probably because it started rendering the remote session sideways without informing the OS that it switched to landscape. Should be an easy fix.

Keyboard input is broken
This app has been great and reliable for years but recently the keyboard layout was changed and some keys can’t be pressed. Several keys are under the “notch” for the camera and they keyboard cannot be repositioned. It’s nearly impossible to press “1”, for example.
