Supernova Social Network User Reviews

Definitely recommend ✨

I love Supernova. I’ve been using it for well over a year now, possibly closer to two, and it’s a far nicer place to spend time online than the other SM platforms I’ve used.

Posting Problems

Hey, Supernova! I really enjoy your social platform where I can post freely and also give to charity. I do have a problem with the uploading part of making the posts: On my iPhone, anytime I try to post something new, say an image I made, it gives me a hot minute, reminding it will be ready in a few seconds, only to have it stop and delete the whole post. If you would fix this, that’d be great.

Amazing app

This is a great social media app, I recommend everyone to try it out :)

Great concept but crashes repeatedly

I love this app. I think the charitable concept is wonderful and there is great potential to bring awareness to many causes but the app keeps crashing for me. It logs me out and then gives me error codes when trying to log back in. It’s frustrating. Not sure if it has to do with the app being UK based and I am in US. Would love for these bugs to be worked out. I could see this app taking off in the very near future. Especially as mainstream social media apps are becoming volatile and people are tired of the behaviors and scams happening there.

Has High Potential

So happy I found this app!! I can’t wait for more updates to come out!!! 💕☺️✌🏻

Looking forward to trying it!

Tried to send this via “report an issue” but won’t let me bc the app was free. I want to start an account but my business name, and handle on every other account I have always used, is 20 characters and your max is 18! I know quite a few other people with the same issue. Would love to leave some other platforms were on, but also want to keep our long time business names. Hope this is something that can change! Thanks so much!

Love this app

Great community and love the supernova button for the best posts - has video and stills and you can choose which charity the ad revenue goes to

Big needs fixing

Big report function not working

Great potential but ways to go yet

I love this app for putting positivity and user safety front and centre and I give it top stars for actually curating the content. I look forward to this app and this platform growing. Having said that though there are so many gaps in the features, that it makes finding posts, groups and just scrolling very difficult. I understand developers need to take baby steps, can’t have everything in day one. What I would really love to see is an app specific for desktop computers, having a tiny limited mobile phone style app on a desktop is just so much space wasted. While it’s great for quick posts, searching and scrolling is very annoying. Another thing I would love to see, is a more functional menu so we can get to the right part quickly, eg: post categories or groupings. Well done keep up the awesome work.

Great app

Love it !

Thinking of leaving Twitter for Supernova!

Supernova is an absolutely lovely app, a little buggy at times (crashes/doesn’t show my new posts). However, it’s in beta so I can accept a few bugs here and there.

What does Supernova have that Twitter doesn’t?

- Chronological order! (From what I’ve seen, it’s based on time posted when scrolling the timeline)

- A friendly community that interacts with your posts, both comments and thank yous (likes)

- Each profile has both a timeline and a gallery, perfect for photographers and artists

- No subscriptions! There might be a way to help donate to help improve the app (haven’t found it yet).

- A human moderation system

i love supernova

this app is revolutionary and really an outstanding creation, runs smoothly and does not crash. 10/10

UPDATE - helpful responses from developers

Update - I’ve had a few problems with the app, particularly around sign in, and it took me some time to find a way to sort it out but things are going in the right direction. It helps to know that this is still in BETA mode. I’m back in and although it is quite slow to load images and the app sometimes crashes the content is really quite lovely and calming - if that’s what you’re looking for, then it will be right up your street. And the addition of supernova supporting charities (connected to users’ usage) is a lovely idea that attracted me to it in the first place. It was a challenge to find tech support through the website (I found one in their T&Cs) but the developers say they’re going to change that for future users so that’s promising. Things are looking up! 👏 .

It’s just

It’s just I like to be able to control what I see and who can see my post who can follow me and I notice that isn’t the case even after I put to private account

Amazing Concept

This is an incredible concept, only issue is it keeps crashing

Can’t log in

Created an account, but went to log into the app today and it won’t let me put in my full email address so can’t log in. Did the “revise username” thing but it only asked me to change my password not the username.

Deleted the app.

Can’t even verify my account

It keeps saying it is sending me a confirmation email which never comes. I can’t do anything on the app which is extremely frustrating. I can’t find a way to contact anyone for support either. Very disappointed so far. I am hoping they see my feedback and help me resolve the issue. I will give an update if I ever hear back from anyone. But, right now it is worthless to me

Great, but could be even better

I am in able to accept invites to the group I have created. Please can you fix this, and I’ll be happy to rate at 5 stars. 👍

I love this app

I’ve been using supernova for about 4 weeks now, and honestly i love it. It dosent have the toxicity and pressure unlike other apps such as instagram. I think this app has big potential and i’m looking forward to future updates!

Do Better

I really like this app at first but then the web server went down. Even though it was only temporary, it would have been great if there were updates on this issue on their Twitter page and there’s no email to contact them.
