About

superserious is the app for your course. It holds the whole thing — the lessons, the readings, the people also taking it — and it comes with a teaching assistant that has actually read the material. A course, laid out week by week Thirty lessons, already scheduled across your term. Each one shows what it covers and roughly how long it takes, so you can see the week ahead instead of guessing at it. Nothing is locked: if you want to read ahead, read ahead. A teaching assistant that knows where you are Open a lesson and the assistant is already in it. It knows which lesson you have in front of you, what that lesson is trying to teach, and what the week's reading said — so you can start with a real question instead of explaining your situation first. Didn't do the reading? It assumes you didn't, and works the substance in rather than quizzing you on it. It follows you around the rest of the app too. Reading an article, looking at your messages, planning something with your group — the assistant opens on that, and you can take it anywhere from there. It is one continuous conversation, not a new blank window every time. The people taking it with you See what your group has scheduled and what is coming up. Discuss a lesson with everyone else working through it. Send a message to one person. Save the things worth coming back to. Made for a specific course This is not a general study app. It is set up for one syllabus and one group, and you will need an account from your course to sign in.

What's New in superserious

1.0.3

September 7, 2026

The teaching assistant is now everywhere in the app, not just inside a lesson. Tap it from any screen and it opens already talking about whatever you are looking at — the article, the lesson, the conversation. One tap gets you somewhere else if you would rather talk about something different. The whole course is open from the start. Every lesson is available whenever you want it, and scheduling now lives with the rest of your group's plans. Also: a clearer course tab, a faster and more reliable start-up, and a conversation that remembers what you talked about last time.
