Absolutely useless
Impossible to get anything, there are 20 applicants for every shift the moment the notification loads. You should be pulling adds after a handful of applicants instead of having a feed where the only shifts are already absolutely filled with dozens and dozens of people sometimes hundreds. What’s the point of leaving all of these shifts open when quite clearly they’ve been filled. New applicants can barely see anything come up you’re not able to filter jobs. I didn’t even have success finding work as a dishwasher at restaurants around the corner from me when they were desperate for staff saying if you can come in now we’d really appreciate it. Not a single one offered anything or even took the shift offline after it started. Useless waste of time.

Terrible Customer Service
Rude Customer Service - They’re all on power trips with how they speak to Hospitality staff using the app. Without the staff you wouldnt have the App!

This company buys their reviews unfortunately from clickfarms.
When disputes happen, customer service heavily sides with the paying venues over the casual staff, leaving us with unfair ratings they can't change. They are also strict on their cancellation policy, restricting an account for 2 weeks even from sickness or injury.
There are far more hospitality professionals looking for casual shifts on the platform than there are venues actively posting them. This leads to weeks of applying with zero feedback.

Work at cafes you want, quick and easy money
Supp is great and an app for freelancing barista/barista gigs. Work a shift to see if you like the cafe without the long term commitment. Apply permanently if you like after working. They work with many cafes. It’s great to just experience new cafes/environment every week! They also have some catering events shift sometimes!

I am writing to report a critical technical glitch with my app notifications.
I am currently being spammed with push notifications every 2 to 3 minutes for roles and shifts that I have already applied for. I have checked the in-app settings, but there is no option to limit or stop these duplicate alerts.
Could you please check my account on your end and clear this notification loop? Honestly other than this really annoying glitch this app is an amazing idea!!!!

Supp Five Stars for The General Cafe
Loved my first Supp shift at The General Cafe. Despite the first time, there was ease of onboarding and Fraser was so nice.
Room for improvement
It’s a good idea and booking shifts and getting paid is easy. Things to improve: I keep getting notifications of new shifts that are actually top up payments for other users. I can also see who worked and where and it feels weird that all Supp users get notifications to see who worked and where.
Baristas dream!
Supp is such a great resource for Baristas who want to make some extra income on an as needed basis. A great app for artists who need to make their own schedule!

Missing key features
You can only scroll through endless job offers, there isn’t a search tool to search for a specific date/location/ venue nor any kind of search filters which is very unpractical. Such a shame because the app is very popular

They will support the business and bring your profile down in the algorithm, good luck tying to get another shift after.
They can do the right thing by protecting workers rights. No circumstances should it be okay for a business to cancel your shift 2 hours before it starts and receive no compensation.
They take advantage of the broken economy and desperation of people to line their pockets with commission without care to the clients they actually are suppose to represent.

Improvements needed
You should implement distance filters when offering jobs. I’m receiving offers up to 690 km away. It would be great to be able to choose how far you want to work, for example within a 15 km radius.

I currently work for the app Supp, it’s a great app whenever I have free days or days off from my current work I can pick up a gig or 2 and it’s such a convenience to my routine and my life. I highly recommend if you are looking for steady freelance gigs. No attachments, you choose when you want to work ! You choose the type of work you are most comfortable with and are knowledgeable in. It’s a life saver. Thank you Supp !

Very grateful and thankful for this app. It has allowed me new opportunities to check out new businesses and work across my city. I’ve been very blessed to pick up a bunch of shifts and continue to meet new customers‘s giving me a chance to be my own boss and getting paid two days later which is a lovely option especially when you need money this app has allowed me to grow and earn extra money to help with bills and extra needs. I have very thankful for this app.

I’ve really been enjoying working with Supp! It allows me to choose my own schedule, while balancing a duel career in the arts. It’s also really cool getting a chance to experience different businesses and cultures throughout the NYC area. Dont comply with penalty rates
Sundays are paid the same rates as Saturdays, which is illegal.
No late hours penalties.
They charge employers 12% of your wage for each shift. Basically supp is pocketing your superannuation
