About
"Where do you want to eat?" "I don't mind, you pick." Supper Court ends that conversation.
Answer a few quick questions, one at a time: rice, noodles or bread? Big night or light bite? Spicy tonight? How far will you go? The court narrows about sixty kinds of dinner down to a shortlist of three, and tells you why in plain words: "both of you wanted broth; nobody wanted heavy." It stops asking as soon as the answer is clear, and says when the verdict is close.
THREE WAYS TO HOLD COURT
- Everyone on their own phone. Start a court, share the link, and everyone answers on their own phone. Nobody needs the app: the link opens in any browser. Everyone sees the same verdict. Set a time the court closes so one slow phone cannot hold up dinner, and start again with the same people.
- Pass the phone. One phone goes round the table, each person answers in turn.
- Just you. Can't decide on your own? The court helps with that too. Or tap Surprise me and let it pick three.
WHAT YOU CAN'T EAT
Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, no pork or no seafood: tell the court once and every pick suits it. Gluten-free and nut allergies add a warning to the picks they affect. Supper Court can't vouch for allergens, so always check with the venue.
SOMEWHERE TO EAT IT TONIGHT
Tap "Near you" on a pick to search for it in Apple Maps or Google Maps. Or tap "Places here" for a short list of nearby places open now, with their Google ratings, price and distance, and let the court pick one for you. The app only asks for your location when you tap "Places here".
FAIR TO THE PERSON WHO SAID NO
An answer nudges the shortlist; only a "not tonight" rules something out. The court gives extra weight to the least happy person at the table, so nobody gets steamrolled, and a pick that went against someone says so kindly: "Sam gave way on spicy."
SHARE THE VERDICT
Send the verdict to the group chat as a picture: the three picks and how the court ruled.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP
There is nothing to sign up for. Just me and pass-the-phone courts stay on your phone, and so does a short memory of what you had recently, so the court goes easy on repeating last night's dinner. A shared court keeps the first names people type and their answers on our server so everyone's phone can take part, and deletes them a day after the court last changed. No ads, no tracking.

What's New in Supper Court
1.0.1
October 26, 2026
Starting a court is simpler: one Start button, then the court asks who is deciding and how. The questions are about the food now, not the evening: "Something warming, or something fresh and cool?" instead of "Cold night or warm night?", and "Big feed or light bite?". Plus fixes from testing.
