Amazing
I have used this app most recently on my deployment to the Middle East it has made it so much easier for family and friends to send me stuff. I had an issue with gift cards someone sent me and when I reached out to customer service they not only gave me the correct amount gift card but let me keep the ones that weren’t the correct amount. They also replied to my email and fixed the issue within an hour of the original email going out. They are such an amazing company and I’m very thankful for them. Last thing just wanted to give a shoutout to Abby who helped me she’s awesome!

Amazing idea!
Love this concept and can’t wait to fill wishlists. One feature I’d love to see in addition to where they are stationed is what city or state they are from. Some are much more likely to fulfill needs of troops from their state or region.

I used this app to send care packages to my son who was deployed. It was by far the easiest way I found to send him the items he needed to stay comfy. I also sent items to random troops as well, I know it isn’t is being away from home and not everyone has someone that can support them. I wish they had this when I was in!

Disappointed
I was excited to support our troops and sent 4 soldiers packages totaling quite a bit of money. Only one soldier sent a thank you . I don’t need gratitude but at least confirmation to know you’re intentions weren’t wasted.
Orders
Placed 2 orders on 4/21/2023 and nothing has been done. Sent emails on status and no response. If Support A Troop is not going to ship items, please refund my money.
LOVE
I loved sending care packages to my husband whenever he got deployed (very grateful that he hasn’t for a couple years and we were also only dating then he got sent out in his first deployment 6 months into us dating been together 7 years now) and I was heartbroken by the amount of people he was deployed with who not only had a lot of breakups within the first month of their first deployment but also had no one to send them anything to make being gone a little easier. When I found that out I started sending multiple boxes a month to my husband one being for him and the other two full of stuff for him to give out to his squadron. He said everyone appreciated it and it helped morale significantly. I hated I couldn’t get anyone whatever they really wanted so when I found this app I was beyond excited. I’ve had multiple things sent out over the past few years and it’s always heartwarming getting a thank you note from them. You can tell how grateful they are and I love making people happy. Can’t get enough of this

I have sent items to about a dozen deployed troops and every time it has been a great experience and I have received several very nice thank you from different troops.
Sounds questionable
I was reading the terms and I’m not quite happy with what I read. You can’t guarantee that I wish list will be provided or donations can’t be promised, this is not good. If I’m donating my money or product for a service man then I want that person to receive the money or The product. This is one of the main reasons why I don’tDonate to any agencies. And I’m sorry to say I do not trust this one. I will find another way to send a product to a soldier who needs it.

Terms for Patriotic Donors: If you purchase any item for a deployed service member from their wishlist that item will be sent to them. If for any reason they are un-able to receive the item the troop will receive a Gift Card with the Value of that item. If the troop is unable to receive the gift card; you will receive a refund for the item you have purchased. 2. Terms for Deployed Service Member: If you are a Deployed Service Member we can not guarantee that someone will purchase a gift from their wishlist. You seem to have made an honest mistake and quoted the terms that is addressed to our service members, believing they were the terms for you. Appreciate the confirmation status of delivery & receipt.
I especially appreciate the message function where the Service member can send me a note indicating they’ve received the items I selected for them & can send me a photo. It has reassured my confidence in this program that my donation has actually been received - thank you for that functionality! And THANK YOU so much for creating this platform where we can give, we can choose from a recipients wish list & that the Service member has the ability to confirm it’s been received.💗💗💗
