Very limited

I was hopeful that the app would have the same data listed on CanLII url. I couldn’t find a 2018 ONCA decision.

Very basic app, could use some enhancements, search bars, drop menus for directories etc.

Not bad

Few issues, I couldn’t find a search function and when I hit the cases button it goes to a red screen that I can’t escape without closing the app.

Good concept - Poor Execution.

The concept is good. The app is simple and easy to use. The case summaries are poorly written and painful to read.

Thank you for your feedback. This app is still in its early stages and more features will be added in the future. The case summaries are created by staff at the SCC and therefore are out of my control.

Requires improvement

- Please add a search field to search for cases.
- Would help if the cases were organized by category.
- Please add the ability to highlight and underline text.
- The cases with the darker gray icon are not categorized.
- Tort, contract, and property cases are not categorized.
- Also when opening most criminal cases it goes directly to the website. Why?

Thank you for the feedback. Searching for cases is a future that should be available in the near future. The categories come directly from the Supreme Court website. Unfortunately, they do not categorize all of them for whatever reason. As a result, they just show a blank category. Some cases do not have a case in brief. Once again, cases in brief are written by the staff at the Supreme Court. For smaller cases, such as cases that are heard as of right, there is often not a case in brief provided by the court so the app just takes you to the written decision.
