Money grabbing
Been using this for years, and now all of a sudden gotta pay a subscription for it just like everything else, might as well get surfline
Very disappointing
I was temporarily blocked simply because I used the service too often. The chief captain even admits the block is meant to encourage users to subscribe to Surf Captain Pro. I understand the need for a paid subscription, but restricting loyal users’ access as a sales tactic feels unfair. A better approach would be to offer features that make people want to upgrade, not force them into it. Because of this, I don’t recommend this app.

This app was great in the beginning now you have to pay to view the forecast

Less user friendly than previous versions
Hey surf captain - why did you guys remove the hourly swell/wind toggle when panning over the swell graph? That was a huge selling point of your interface. Considering unsubscribing.
