Simple and Accurate
I checked this app every time I check the weather and I live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It’s really accurate, super easy to read, and has a magical way of making everything so presentable. The most important thing to me is it’s really pretty good at predicting too.
Money grabbing
Been using this for years, and now all of a sudden gotta pay a subscription for it just like everything else, might as well get surfline
Very disappointing
I was temporarily blocked simply because I used the service too often. The chief captain even admits the block is meant to encourage users to subscribe to Surf Captain Pro. I understand the need for a paid subscription, but restricting loyal users’ access as a sales tactic feels unfair. A better approach would be to offer features that make people want to upgrade, not force them into it. Because of this, I don’t recommend this app.
