I’ve got the free version as 200 yards walk I can see my break. But in saying that, it is nice seeing what swells coming through…direction, size, wind etc.

I absolutely LOVE this app. Its mostly reliable but the one thing i would say is that the stars that rate the good days for surfing seem a bit randomized so i don't rely on them. I love how it tells you all the wind directions nd the wave graph and it also says the durination of the waves too💙

Good forecast app- simple and effective overview. But its missing crucial spot info you only find on the website. So besides having the premium app i have to lookup every spot on my browser.

Best layout.
I pay for 2 surf forecasts account. Surf-forecast and Surfline. Surf-forecast is by far my favorite. It’s way cheaper, easier to read, laid out better and it seems to be more accurate. I primarily use it at home in the pacific north west but I am on a surf trip right now to indo and it’s been incredibly helpful and accurate.

Great Report of Surf Conditions
Surf-Cast is very helpful in previewing surf conditions in preparation for an outing. Very accurate.
App worse than website
Can only see 6 days of forecast on the app but 12 days on the website using the same account. Make 12 days available on the app please!
Most reliable app
While I am not a surfer… I AM an open water swimmer. This app lets me know what I am in store for on any given day. I have looked and compared it to others and I have found it to be the best!
SF Review
I always check in SF in advance before heading out, app is not always spot on but is reliable and consistent. Has heaps of popular surfs spots on the map. I give it 5 stars.

Sneaky and deceptive
I canceled my subscription on apple settings like it tells you to do only to find out it was still taking money for a further 4 weeks!! and I had to log on online to cancel it! This is sneaky behavior. Daylight robbery

Better than Surfline
I prefer this app over Surfline because it doesn’t override my audio like Surfline does. As someone with autism, I’m sensitive to apps that take control of sound without warning. This app respects that, which makes a big difference for accessibility. Overall, Surf Forecast does a much better job in terms of usability and accessibility
