So far it’s been HORENDOUS. My daughter is the only reason I am still spending money on this food. It used to be way better now kids run the asylum. And it’s acceptable.

Terrible app. You try to place an order, and always an error message. I then go elsewhere

Doesn’t let you login
This app doesn’t let you login to an existing account. It only lets you create a new one which doesn’t work when your phone number is already associated with an account.

How do you mess up?
For the last 2 years, I have used this app, and you can order ahead and pick up. It is great for customization.
Without warning, the app only lists delivery. Even if you click on reorder from the order the prior day, it defaults to delivery. I would just like to order for pickup.
This is obviously some overlooked development error in an update.
Does anyone ever test the app as a user?

Time consuming
Make the app easier. Check out takes more info that most restaurants. Sign into account with phone number.
App is awful
I love Surf Taco but the app never works. The square pops up with the logo and it just spins FOREVER. Then, I have to force quit.
Pick Up Only! What…
The entire family loves Surf Taco - That is eating in a physical restaurant. The app and therefore the rewards program is for pickup only (makes sense if it was designed by a delivery service [Uber Eats, GrubHub, etc.] like some reviews say). Nothing worse than a fish taco sitting on a counter, getting soggy along with rice and beans that get cold for pickup. If you want to earn rewards, pickup or delivery is the only option. If you want rewards and plan on eating in the restaurant then do NOT get this app - that option is none existent. Every single other rewards program actually rewards people for in store purchases (Wawa, Chick-fil-A, Panera, Everywhere). If you have an in store purchase there’s no rewards. This app is ONLY for pickup. Avoid until this is corrected.
The app is POOR - only pickup time (for a cold fish taco pickup) is ASAP. I’m 20 minutes from the restaurant. I don’t want it ASAP. Twice now I’ve downloaded - deleted - re-installed - deleted the app thinking it would change. Shame on me for wasting my time - Shame on Surf Taco to agreeing to this app process.

App is hot garbage
Love your food and service, but forcing your customers to download an app just to see your menu is ridiculous. The app is slow, doesn’t have single sign on capabilities, which is fine but I couldn’t even call in to place an order for delivery without being forced to download the app.

Slow
App should be able to populate info from cc and demographic info. Verification email is a bit much. Ordered online and food arrived late and front desk receptionist was texting and didn’t realize the food came out as well. Terribly run silverton establishment
Address Invalid
It will not let me look at my address when I’m tying and it keeps saying invalid. I’ve been trying for 30 minutes and I’m about to throw my phone at the wall.

App is not easy to use. Took a while to figure out how to make it work and order multiple surf tacos. Should be able to enter the number but it did not work. Must keep pushing the plus button
Food 10/10 but Payment method needs improvement
Surf taco is one of my go to’s when coming back home. Food is a knockout but Need to invest in the ordering infrastructure
