Paid but feels like freeware
I paid for a subscription but every time I open the app I get a pop up ad to buy more services.
Edit: the dev response is to turn off push notifications. This is different to the full page ads when I open the app.

Stopped everything, went to an Apple Store and they deleted it.
Surfshark
All seems good so far. Let’s see how it performs in the coming weeks
Not impressed
I switched to Surfshark about 3 months ago. I have connection issues constantly. I paid for the annual subscription up front and will likely switch anyway. My previous VPN worked flawlessly in comparison.
Avoid the trap
Got the app based on reviews for both my pc and phone. “Special” pricing got me through 39 months.
2FA verification takes 2-3 minutes each time (WAY TOO SLOW)
Started process to get a refund (within 3 days of purchase) and they were only going to refund 1/3 of the price I paid.
Will be fighting this through my CC company.
