I think NHS should have a look at this app. Easy to use, give you information how to prepare for your surgery and what to do after. Daily notifications but only 2-3 weeks beside surgery and 3-4 weeks after. Then only 1-2 per month.

PrePostOpGuide is an incredibly helpful app for anyone preparing for or recovering from a medical procedure. The reminders and checklist are a lifesaver, making nearly impossible to miss an important step.
Very useful
Useful app, I am using it for 5 months now. I am still receiving instruction what I can and can’t do. For 2 weeks before and after my HT I had 2- 5 notifications per day, then maybe 1-2 per day. Now PrePostOpGuide sends me reminder to upload pictures for the clinic. Very handy.
