The Ark is now faster, more reliable, and more useful in real emergencies. This update improves the offline survival AI experience with better guidance for disaster preparedness, wilderness survival, first aid, navigation, emergency planning, and communication when internet access is unavailable. We’ve also added nearby extreme-event shelter discovery, helping users identify reinforced buildings and safer locations near them that may be better suited to withstand severe disasters. This version also introduces a realistic nuclear effects simulator, allowing users to choose a location on the map and visualize real-world impact zones, blast effects, and emergency planning considerations. The Ark is built to help you prepare for power outages, natural disasters, remote travel, civil emergencies, and worst-case scenarios — even without Wi-Fi or cell service.

Great Concept, poor execution

The Knowledge vault was clearly thrown together haphazardly, they even included some free pdfs from common prepper sites. This is not a one stop app for all your survival needs. It’s got lots of flashy buzz words in the description but don’t let that fool you. Once you get past the paywall it’s pretty sad and doesn’t include many features. Don’t pay for the subscription. Just trust me on this one. Also claiming to have trained the AI using survivalist is pretty funny. I mean any LLM can accomplish this level of instruction. It’s not anything special

Any AI can perform general query, but there are specialized survival-oriented ones that can outperform generalists with training. Internet access

It will ask for you to get a membership with no ability to skip the option. So you’d need Internet access. Kinda sucks finding out the moment I lost internet access.

Hi there, you don’t need internet access for the membership to work because your payment information is stored in the cloud. We also offer a lifetime license

What a joke

App requires active online connection! What’s the point of this? Was trying to use it while in Yosemite, would not “initialize”… so tried to rely on the built in offline content. They are also a joke.

Spare your money, this has been done by clowns.

Hello, the app does not need an internet connection but we’re sorry for your experience. We’ve bundled the model into the app so this won’t happen again. The model previously initialized after the app download but we’ve since fixed this.

Not a good product

You are forced to create an account, then your forced to sign up for a subscription. And when attempting to access their privacy policy and conditions it takes me to a broken website with and unsecured domain. I can’t even figure out how to delete my account. Waste of time.
