Suviard: Hiking & Hillwalking

Suviard is the social network for people who head for the hills: record your routes, discover where to walk and find people to walk with. Free, with no ads. CLUBS AND GROUP WALKS Join a club near you or start your own. Each club has its own events with date, time and meeting point, so you can see who has really said yes. Whoever drives says how many seats they have and the rest book them in the app: carpooling sorted. The club wall, group chat and club routes all live in one place. RECORD YOUR ROUTES Record your route with GPS while you walk, run or ride. Distance, elevation gain and time are worked out for you. Recording keeps going with the screen off and your phone in your pocket, so you won't lose the track halfway up. DISCOVER WHERE TO GO Routes in your area come first. Search by name or mountain range, filter by sport and difficulty, or open the map and see what's around the village you're heading to. Each route comes with a map, elevation profile, distance and photos from people who've already done it. Save the ones you fancy for later. FOLLOW A ROUTE WITH VOICE ALERTS Open any route and tap "Start navigation". If you stray from the track, Suviard tells you out loud, and again when you're back on it. Export the track as GPX or send it to your Garmin watch with Suviard for Connect IQ, free of charge. GEOTAGGED PHOTOS Take photos along the way and each one stays pinned to the exact spot where you took it. When you finish, your activity is published with the track and the pictures. A COMMUNITY THAT WALKS Follow other hikers, comment on their routes and send direct messages. Your feed shows what the people you follow post, in order, with no algorithm. LEADERBOARDS Monthly, yearly and all-time leaderboards by kilometres and activities, for you and for your club. Only what you've actually recorded counts: routes drawn on the map don't score. YOUR GEAR, UNDER CONTROL Add your shoes and keep count of the kilometres on each pair, so you know when it's time for new ones. SUVIARD PREMIUM The app is free and works without a subscription. The optional Premium subscription adds: • Offline maps: download whole regions and use them with no signal. In the mountains, coverage drops out just when you need it most. • Offline routes: track, elevation profile and map saved on your phone. • Up to 20 photos per route instead of 5. • Advanced search by month, distance and elevation gain. • Route planner at suviard.com: draw your route on your computer and it appears in the app. • Premium badge on your profile and a discount in the shop. --- Suviard uses your location in the background only while you are recording an activity, so that it can record your route with the screen off. You can stop recording at any time. --- PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION Suviard Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription in two durations: monthly (1 month) and annual (1 year). The price is shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
