They have audio to their phrases however when I upgraded it for $1.39, it comes to around 550 phrases which is not bad for the price. It would be an improvement if you would put another higher price to upgrade to a version that would help educate us. Maybe $7 for 1000 words and phrases (permanent purchase). Thanks though.

Don’t bother with upgrade
I bought to have some words to use on Safari. I upgraded to have access to the safari animal vocabulary. Beware, there are only 4 animals listed.
Get a different app!
The audio lessons are a somewhat fast, but pronunciation words are helpful.
No audio
The lessons didn't work. The phrases were there but there's no way of knowing how to pronounce words in other languages without hearing them. I would not recommend this app for learning Swahili!

Great app, useful phrases not just useful words.
Covers the basics of the language
I slowly built up a vocabulary with this app, saying things like pole as walked around someone in market or samahani when asking for help.
This sparked conversations in Swahili with other Kenyans but of course I'm not fluent so got caught out.
Another interesting thing I did was clicking on all the numbers up to 20 while I was with the kids on my grandfather's compound, and they counted with the audio in Swahili.
In short, brilliant app - I may purchase the full version now.

Great app quick easy audio is essential once mastered this free version will upgrade!
