About
Photograph a patch of lawn, answer a couple of questions, and find out what is actually wrong with it.
WHEN IT DOESN'T KNOW, IT SAYS SO
Most lawn apps name a cause every time you ask. That is easy to build and it is wrong often. Sward names a most likely cause only when the evidence genuinely favours one. When two or three stay close, it shows you the shortlist and the single physical check that separates them — tug a patch to see whether the roots have been cut through, or look at the edge of the damage instead of the middle.
Being told "not sure yet, and here is how to find out" is worth more than being told the wrong thing confidently.
A PHOTO IS NOT ENOUGH, SO IT ASKS
Fungus and drought damage look alike in a photograph. So do dog urine and fertilizer burn. Sward always asks at least two things a photo cannot answer — how often you water, what shape the damage is, how much sun that corner gets — and any one of your answers can argue the photo down.
It is also allowed to tell you nothing is wrong.
WHAT YOU GET
• A verdict with the confidence drawn, not a made-up percentage
• The grass species, when the blades genuinely show it
• A treatment plan written by people, never generated
• Weather-aware reminders — rain counts as watering, and a lawn dormant in the heat is never nagged to water
• Fertilizer and seed calculators, free
• A journal of what you did and what happened after
FREE, AND STAYING FREE
