About

Swastik (from the Sanskrit "svasti", meaning well-being) is Ayurveda for your day: what to eat, how to move and what to chant, at the right time of day. YOUR DAY, BY THE CLOCK Ayurveda has always followed the rhythm of the day: Brahma Muhurta, morning, midday, evening and night. Swastik opens on the part of the day you are in, under a sky that changes with the hour, and shows you four simple things for that moment. EAT A home-cooked vegetarian dish for the moment, with a simple recipe. Breakfast warm and light, lunch as the main meal, dinner light and early, a warm drink before bed. Set it to vegetarian or vegan, Jain-friendly, no gluten, North or South Indian. Dishes follow the season and change every day. FROM YOUR KITCHEN The spice of the moment and how to use it: ginger in your morning water, tulsi in your chai, jeera in your tadka, saunf after dinner. MOVE A yoga practice for that time of day, step by step with a hold timer: Surya Namaskar in the morning, Vajrasana after lunch, gentle stretches in the evening, legs up the wall before sleep. Each comes with a breath practice. CHANT A mantra for the moment in Devanagari, with transliteration and meaning, and a guided, breath-paced chanting session: Om at dawn, Om Suryaya Namaha in the morning, Om Namah Shivaya at midday, So Hum in the evening, Om Shanti at night. ONE SMALL TWEAK A DAY Plus a daily tweak tied to something you already do. Tap Made it, Swap or Not for me. EXPLORE Meditation Hall with guided breathing, and a Seasonal Guide (Ritucharya) for eating and living with the time of year. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account needed. Without one, everything stays on your iPhone. If you want your kitchen choices and streak to follow you to a new phone, sign in with Apple or Google (optional). Only your sign-in email and name, your kitchen choices, your streak and the last day you opened the app are saved, and you can delete your account any time in Settings. No ads, no tracking, no health data. Swastik shares traditional Ayurvedic ideas for food, yoga, chanting and daily routine for general wellness. It is not medical advice. Please talk to a doctor about any health concern.
