Everything isn’t grey
I used this app to detect differences in wall paint on some light color blues and greens. It called everything a shade of grey, sometimes multiple shades of grey were suggested for the same wall. Do not recommend.

This is a really great app. It’s super useful for isolating colors and learning how colors are affected by different lighting conditions.
The only thing I would change is that there isn’t any way to see the hsb of the colors, just hex and rgb.

Straightforward, simple, absolutely fantastic.
No strange permissions (just camera and photos), no intrusive ads, no hounding you to spend an absurd amount of money per week for a “premium” version. Heck it doesn’t have any in-app purchases whatsoever. Simply does what it says and does it well.

now i can't even use it. :( it won't open, just closes right away when i try. i was hoping maybe there would be an update to fix this, but it's been happening for a while now.

Failed to find colour
Failed to find colours in anything I tried it on. Flash on or off colour was way off. Chose colours far less saturated than what it was scanning. iPhone 12 pro. Tried ‘what a color’ instead and that got it right straight away.
I wish it worked...
The interface is easy to use and I like how everything should work....but it glitches and isn’t identifying the colors in my currently selected picture. It’s still stuck on the last pictures colors. Dunno how to make it refresh itself. It keeps happening, which makes the app pretty useless until this gets fixed.

Great for the iPhone, but not formatted for the iPad.
Seems to do the job.
Just quickly tried it out and it seems to do the job. Scanned the scene and picked the colour of the object successfully. Of course light conditions seem to impact but I’d imagine you’d need to work that out.

Really good app, would be perfect if...
The app had the ability to manually dial in exact WP and Exposure values. As it gets pretty hard to dial in exact 6500 with the slider.

Update needed!! Doesn’t open!! Crashed
Doesn’t open after initial download.. can only use it once and if you close it.. it doesn’t open again. Incompatible. Thought it was great though for the one time it worked.
