Slick+powerful color palette app
The color palettes produced by this app are actually super useful, as opposed to the many sites and apps that promise the same functionality, but never quite get it right. They might have been technically accurate in creating median values of dominant colors, but always missed that a photograph would show colors with certain material and lighting properties within the total gamut of an image, rather than the diffused color (3D speak for unshaded, reflection-less color), so the colors would end up looking more muted than they should be.
Also appreciate the intuitive interface.
I’ve always struggled with expanding beyond a handful of go-to color palettes, but this app allows me to quickly explore options.

I love using this app to collect color palette inspiration. I find it useful when illustrating and need to come up with a color palette. Also recommend it to my students as a way to learn color theory. Get it!
